Ecu tweaked and now mot’d just shopping around for some insurance quotes now  

Finally wired in the speedo, was actually quite straight forward as I’d already had the PIN number and connector I needed to wire it into, used a octy mk1 vrs speedo drive Cheers Ross for that info into the box and two wires to a connector under the battery, signal to dash and ignition live then just run an earth to an existing earth stud by Ecu. Hopefully sort some bodywork out soon

Cheers mate, Front grill needs going bodycolour, and I’ve got vrs bumpers to go on too  ,  although I keep changing my mind on them, as I like the standard look. Might just fit a facelift front bumper,

I prefer the facelift bumper to the sport tbh

Good 500miles covered over the weekend with no problems, many bugs were killed. Managed to get my final fault codes mapped out too so she’s now EML free

Mine is being the proverbial ****. For some reason just as I was ready for MOT the Motronic relay is now intermittently open circuit so wont start (despite it never failing to start for the last 18 months). I'm still in a mood so haven't looked at it.

Yeah, will be, just got to get around to finding it.

Woo no eml, going to get a front mount intercooler, sports cat then go for a stage2 map at some point 

Changed all the grey trims that were left in the car on the lower half, ran wiring for a sub and amp I’ve got sitting round in the loft too while I had it all out, looks much better

Looks a bit more subtle with the darker plastics Trevor. Well, as subtle as a pastel green Skoda can be! 

Starting making a start on fitting the vrs bumpers then it can go off to paint, and I also get some space back. Also fitted a piper rear silencer and still got a piper sports cat downpipe to fit.

Bumpers and grill off to paint finally  should have a decent update in next couple of weeks. Couple of small dents to sort out after then get some kind of ceramic coating on her before winter, was great having the truck to shove all the bumpers in 😂

Fitted the piper sports cat 2.5” downpipe I’ve had for abit, much better

Not much of an update, battery finally gave up, fitted a slightly smaller 012 instead of standard 027, saves 3/4kg and it’s better ah and cca then the cheapo 027 it replaced, win win.

 

Bumpers have yet to be done as my painter went on holiday . If not this weekend then I’m off on holiday then so won’t be any updates for a bit

 It’s the same depth so fits as normal it’s just less width 👍🏼

Bumpers are still not done as my paint guys been inundated with work, so fitted old front bumper back on and red vrs rear, as I need to run it around as the trucks parked up for winter.

 

tentatively put the fabia up for sale as I just love my truck so much more, and having another car like this it won’t get the attention it deserves 😞 threads in the classifieds
