Good luck too you all, shame about the single exhaust due to the GPF

That’s a deal breaker. No one should buy a VRS from now on as it has oneexit exhaust.

What a ridiculous statement. Don't buy a car because it only has a single exhaust pipe.

If the RS looked ugly (which it does a bit with the split headlights, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.) or as stupid as the Nissan cube I could understand it, but because of a single exhaust pipe? Nah.

Got mine Thursday last week RS 245 DSG

Moon white, since in Sweden we can't order any color for some reasons. White, black or red. No race blue or green... :(

Have it all otherwise in specs.

Saw this, my 2019 has dual exhaust. Is it a UK thing?

I do believe that is a MY18 vRS245 MY as in Manufacturer Year

could be but the dealer said is 2019. got it last week, ordered it 8-9 weeks ago

Would be surprising to get an MY19 manufactured car on an 8 week lead. Limited colour choice would match the MY18 VRS245 selection in the UK too

pretty much as I expected then. Will push it down his throat lol

I think your country still has the "245 Edition" & not the standard current model which has 245psi.

Simple way to check, do both exhaust outlets work, if they do it's a "245 Edition" if not it's a standard current model

Both work so it's the edition in that case and not the 245 model that I thought I ordered.

Where did you find that information? Will be good to have when I confront them.

Didn't get the electric seats only the manual although it states, even in my quote, that they are standard. One of the reasons I opt for the 245 instead of the lower range with electric seat upgrade.

Oh! thats interesting, I have to get down on my knees to see if I have a exhaust pipe but then I only have the 1.0 petrol lol. and yes it also has the four eyes but like the much hated Mondeo when it first appeared it will be acceptable over time. (already I got used to it)

Sound like you need to talk with your dealers about what you were sold & the differences to what you've got.

The Alcantra electric/heated seats are one of the standout features of the car for me.

yeah have figured that much out after owning the car for a weekend.

What does your sales order/invoice say you ordered ?

Do you have any sales literature booklet handed out to you when ordering, they've usually got a "alteration of spec statement" though.

The single exhaust outlet is a Gasoline Particulate Filter requirement, this was introduced to make the cars pass the new, stricter mpg & EU emissions testing. I don't know about Sweden but, in the UK the older engine is not available for sale now.

It sounds to me like your car is a bit of a mix'n'match of the MY18 & the MY19 personally, I prefer the theoretically free flowing exhaust system but, would certainly feel a bit miffed about the seats & any other omissions from the styling or comfort.

BTW. What colour are your exhaust pipe tips, the MY18 were black & what wheels are fitted to yours. Might be easier to post external & internal photos of yours.

Spotted this arrive at a dealer earlier. New 245 DSG with two real exhausts...

What wheels does it have? Is it not a MY18 245 i.e. Special edition one? I'm expecting my new MY19 vRS 245 DSG in Red to arrive at the dealer prepping it in MK this week

Has the grey gemini’s on it

Wow.. maybe they lied on their internal documentation lol or messed it up like the MY19 price list/specs confusing everyone :) Sounds like the car I'm expecting just in Red!

It could be a late FL 230 of course.

Yes of course.. just it was claimed to be a 245.. maybe @SimonD316 asked someone?

There was a transporter with among others 4 vrs’s on. All 245s i beleive, meteor, quartz grey, corrida red and candy white. Only the quartz was still for sale.  The meteor, corrida and white all had real twin exhausts, and black packs. On their computer they were all 245s

Sounds good enough to me! :) Again when mine arrives Ill be sure to confirm the exact standard spec for MY19 vRS 245s

Have my quote from the dealer and it states electric seats.

Got an answer today, they are looking into it, cause the 2019 model has electric seat as option. But for me it doesn't matter since it's included in my quote and also from my original config on the skoda site.

Some mixed pictures. The car is built 201809 and got it's approval 2018-09-20

Moon white is the color, chrome exhausts,

Love the digital display

I managed to grab the last available 245 DSG in Meteor from the compound in Germany :) should be with me in 2-3 weeks. I had a wish list, but ended up with a standard car for a decent price.
