Sad to hear former F1 driver Martin Donnelly may lose a leg following a 20mph moped accident on a charity bike ride. Although his broken leg has been pinned a serious infection has set in leading to concern. The 55 year old former Lotus and Arrows driver survived a horrific crash at Jerez which ended his career at ironically 160mph. Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Channel4 F1 pundit Billy Monger wins Pau Grand Prix!   Amazing.     What a great kid he is. What a comeback he's making.

Forgot to mention Martin lives in Norfolk so probably works for Lotus and his friend has set up a crowd fund to help his family during his recovery if anyone wants to help.

Only time this season you can watch lots of F1 coverage on Channel 4 at the following times.

FRIDAY  09:55-11:50 AND  13:55-15:35.

SATURDAY  12:55-15:50.

SUNDAY  12:55-17:30.

According to a statement released by Reuters at 17:14 yesterday the shareholders of Rich Energy are fully committed to being title sponsors of the HAAS F1 Team. The embarrassment caused by just one employee of the company on Twitter.

Yeah but that employee was the CEO. He then later called them out as if it was a failed boardroom coup. What a bunch of clowns. Thankful they didn't buy Force India.

spelling mistake

Oh dear Romain that was a bizarre spin in the pitlane. Good publicity for Rich Energy however.:D

Gasly fastest in FP1 would have got good odds on that bet?

Will qualifying go the same as FP3 today with The Clerk fastest with a 1:25.9 and his Ferrari number 1 fractionally behind and Hamilton 2 tenths back in 3rd. Vercrashin 4th and Bottle 5th both 0.5sec off Ferrari. We will see if Mercedes can turn up the engine but the soft tyres seem to suit the Red cars in the cool, overcast and windy conditions so far.

Mighty close between Bottas on pole and his team mate (0.006 second) Hamilton with Le Clerc third in qualifying.

Third race in a row he's started 6th or lower. Doesn't look like great value for Ferrari (4 titles with Red Bull) at $43,000,000 annual salary compared to his young team mate who has nearly won two races so far and only costs them $3,500,000 per annum.

I've had that thooght for about 10 months now and he would take the job for a fraction of what Seb thinks he's worth. Might have to paint the Ferrari tango orange to keep the Max fans happy.

Ferrari FP performance nearly always looks good - Until MB turn the engine up to 11 for Q3. Top 4 mighty close though.

Even Gasly looking reasonable now he's given Max's setup (according to Marko) (although Horner tried to deny that on Channel4).

So tomorrow? World Cup? Wimbledon? Formula 1? Nope, none of the above - We are going to a 1940's nostalgia event.

Hoping my 2010 retro Sky+HD manages all the recording I need.

Same here off to Donington for afternoon track session and missing all the sport (you forgot the Tour De France also) but there is catch up TV later. Have a great day out hope my talent can keep it within track limits and no black flag being shown to the SHYSTER.:whew:

Vettel: Donkey of the day.

That's 2 amazing races from 2 since the doom and gloom merchants said "F1 is finished" at Paul Ricard.

Safety car helped a little bit but it had been well exciting up to that point anyway.

Just missing the ear-splitting V10 and V12 engines that I so enjoyed from '89 onwards.

Shall we say it again another mistake from the German Ace. Can't see Toto signing him to drive a Silver Arrows anytime soon. What a total plonker.

Exceeded track limits twice oh dear at least I was trying quite hard and not used to arriving at a couple of corners that quickly. Should have gone out with the novices as I drove like one. At least my passenger got an exciting 9 laps and was still smiling when he got out.:blush
