Leaking Skodas?

Featured Replies

Hello

I'm looking at buying a seconhand Skoda Fabia, 07/08 is just about affordable  with higher mileage. I would love a Yeti, but there aren't many for sale in my price range in Cornwall; I've read that many Skodas leak. Is this as commonplace as it seems?

Welcome.

Is it the last of the Mk1 Fabias?

There can be leaky ones, but you should be able to check if the one you are looking at leaks or not.

Feel the carpets, smell them etc.

If dry then that is good on a 11-12 year old car, or maybe always garaged and never out in the rain.

Thanks Skoffski

I'll bear that in mind, but if I do buy a Skoda, I don't have a garage, just a drive, so need a car that definitely doesn't leak!

Good to know if it's just Mk 1s that leaked.

No the issue also on later models as well
