I think @pab567is the best one to answer that.

It will work. I had the same small screen in my Superb III. Bought the big screen, had to chip off a small plastic piece of the plug and after that, was plug and play.

Any of 5E0919605N and 5E0919605M will work plug&play

There is no radio unit in glovebox. As I understand Swing is so basic that unit is behind of screen.

I have one question, I would replace a unit that doesn't have navigation with another one that does, I'm interested in whether component protection should be removed or can only be added with the odis program

Hi @SashaGrace I see you have mentioned that 'it' won't work in 5Q0035874B unit. Could you please explain what exactly doesn't work in this radio unit?
Asking because I'm on a lookout to buy this exact unit. Per the image below, 74B unit is Amundsen from MY17 and should support Carplay and Android Auto.
Please let me know why did you advise not buy the 74B unit.

Hi all, quick question on an old topic.

I have a MIB2 Amundsen head unit which was using the standard 5E0 919 605 J 6" display.

I've bought a replacement MIB2 Columbus display (5E0 919 606) but the blue plug doesn't fit. It looks as if it should with a bit of fettling (shaving off a tab) but can someone please confirm if it's compatible before I do this?

my cad had an MIB1 and I went for the 2.

I trimmed the plug, no issues
