Get a sample of the fluid on a bit of white tissue to see if it is the same colour as your coolant.

I've no idea what it is, so I can't really think anything yet.

I'm trying to get hold of the workshop manuals so i can see if there's a coolant pipe running on that side of the engine, when i go out to the car later this afternoon I'll see if it's still wet and get a sample to see if it's pink.

So I ragged it (see what i did there?), there's a pink colouring on that side running onto the gearbox so it's definitely leaking from the RHS of the engine.

Just trying get hold of the workshop manual to see if there's a coolant junction somewhere near there.

Bound to be some coolant pipes in that area, can't you just take the engine cover off and look?

Let ebay take the strain...

If that's not a coolant outlet on the (UK) nearside end of the engine head, I have no idea what it could possibly be.

There are quite a number of coolant pipes on that side of the engine, if it's puddling on that side of the gearbox then it must be one of them.

Best bet is to dry it off with paper towel, run the car then feel for the water. The coolant comes from the top rad hose, into the "whacking great coolant outlet" above where the CTS sensor is located then distributed off to various places like heater matrix / EGR cooler. Loads of places where a split pipe can leak from

Try to get to autodoc site and register your car. They'll give you exactly what you need. I made the same with coolant tank and more pieces.
