I have laid my hands on a pre owned Skoda Octavia MK3 2018 manufactured car a month back. Very powerful, fascinating and beautiful car. Happy to be part of the Skoda forum.

Lovely looking car! Very smart and looks sporty at the front. What engine is in your Octavia and is it manual or DSG?

 

I've just joined owner ship myself with a late 2015 Mk3 Skoda Superb but I am amazed how similar the Octavia and Superb are!

Octy 1.8 TSI AT (7 speed DSG). Superb has features that are not part of our Octy family.

Lovely! How do you find the TSI. I was very tempted by the 1.8 TSI but the car I found just happened to be a TDI. I do wish I had got a DSG but the 6 speed manual will do! I wonder how complicated a gear box swap would be!! 

 

They do look similar in many ways but understand some of the features are different!

My favourite in chronological order - Breaks, Lightning quick DSG, Power and of Ride & Handling

I was in Chennai at the weekend, caught the train from Tada. I work in Chennai a lot.
