  • But your start/stop button is on the wrong side (like the steering wheel 🤣), the buttons on that side of my car have longer cables too.

  • @310golfr @gav_is_con i own OBDEleven and have already changed several of parameters, but i can't accept disabling Start-Stop completely - for my taste, by default OFF, but still possible on

  • Thanks a lot for the help, I got it done yesterday. Seems to be working great.   It did hurt my fingers, a lot of force was required, I was a bat scared to damage something but in the end I

@MartiniB I think I owe an apology, I was answering for my own car and how stop / start works in factory.

I guess this entire thread is about retrofit with some Chinese chip that operates differently?

@varooom

sorry, if sounded impolite, English isn't my native.

but Your answer weren't connected to tread title and @midlanquestion

All good, I probably needed coffee!

@varooom do you even know how start stop memory module works? If so, you would know, the start-stop system is disabled automatically on each start by that module. So yes, to enable the system I need to press the button.

Oh i see rest comments now, @varooom didn't know how the memory module works, that explains his first comment.

But back to my problem, do other owners of the module experience the same issue (random disable of start-stop when enabled by button)? Any solution?

My Start-Stop Memory module will occasionally do that too - probably 1 out of 10 times.

Not ideal, but I don't know if any fix or solution

another small glitch is when i turning On Start-Stop manually,
after one second it turned again Off, not often, few times a week.

maybe depends on what mode has been in use?

all two years my module were in second "wake in disabled state" mode.

have now switched to first "last state" mode, testing . . .

I tried memory mode and also wake in disabled and both have the same issue 😔

Many thanks.  Having read these threads raises another question.  Has the problem been resolved when the engine starts on pressing the button?

no 😞

every ~ tenth ~ time, S-S Off returns to Off after two seconds delay
