Delivery times?

Featured Replies

I ordered an RS today, I was warned that the delivery schedule is way out and nothing should be expected for at least 8 months and probably nearer 12.

I don't mind too much, as the dealer is going to arrange for the pcp to be extended accordingly, the only fly in the ointment is that I'll have to get 2x new tyres, MOT and service in that time.

I'm not worried about it, 💩 happens, we are where we are and I'm not going to whinging about it. I knew what I was letting myself in for when I put the deposit down, so I will just live with it.

I'm just thinking that by the time it arrives most of (if not all) the glitches should have been sorted out.

  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

So My VRS was ordered in the first week of Jan and they are saying it may be end of May. start of June before it's delivered. Has anyone else been given this kind of delivery timescale? The car I've ordered has a fair few options on it.

Hi there! Yes- I ordered my Octavia in June 2021, factory build......yep, still waiting for a built date.....

Hi everione, i ordered Scala Vision 1.5 TSI manual 25/9/21 in Bulgaria. Week 7 2022 confirmed build. Called the dealership in week 8, they said the car is build and to await delivery in early march. Called them again last week, they said the same thing - the car is ready, await delivery in early april. I am assuming that the car is not actually finished, probably missing some electronic equipment due to chip shortage. So i'm interested if anyone have similar expirience, and how much longer am i gonna wait? My old car is 22 years old and is falling apart.... It would be great to have a global system, that everione can check their order status in.

Global system for checking is everyone’s dream, unfortunately we can only rely on info from our dealers…

Thanks for the reply. I guess the things gets clear when they give you the keys...... in my country even the registration could take up to 3 weeks....

When and where did you order?

August 2021, Porsche Verovskova. Combi 2.0 dsg style

With the panel factory back up and running earlier than expected we will hopefully start hearing some good news soon. The salesman originally put in a random date in April which is 2 weeks away on Friday, even back in October he was highly skeptical that we would see it by the 8th but needed something for their system. The only benefit of the wait is that hopefully by the time it eventually comes to re-propose my finance the used values will still by high, my wives car has gone from owing 2k to being 1500 in credit whereas mine continues to roughly standstill value wise with the settlement dropping monthly.

Wow! it's so quiet around here that we can almost hear the door panels being built...

I think everyone is waiting until 2023 when the next batch of cars is due to be delivered🤣. We'll have something to talk about then, and share some photo's of our new toys 😁

Am I correct in thinking the wiring harness issue with the Ukrainian supplier is an ENYAQ problem rather than any other model? Found an article this morning saying the supplier had managed to resume production a couple of days ago, but Skoda are also trying to bring a second supplier onboard which should be up and running within 3 to 4 weeks.
