Delivery times?

Featured Replies

I’m picking my Octavia up on Thursday evening.
Really looking forward to driving a car I pretty much bought blind. I test drove a MK3 TSI and sat in a MK4 diesel. That’s it.
I’ll post a picture here and start visiting other threads on the forum at last.

  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

I hate to rain on your parade, but it doesn't look like that to me. Ordered July 21. :)

I think it actually does, just not for us :) In Finland, deliveries have been getting better month over month according to FI forum sources. You can also see more and more people get their cars here.

That being said, some of us are doomed to suffer at hands of Skoda planners or random number generator that decides which car to build.

Same lie you mean... If I learned anything in these 14 months of waiting is that everything Skoda says is a big lie. What is most insulting is that Skoda assumes their customers are stupid.

Very happy.
Infotainment not as daunting as so thought. Lane assist not as intrusive as I’d read- pretty helpful most of the time.
Only driven about 60miles but so far, so very good.

Looks nice, and we have the same rims 😊

I agree about the lane assist, I only turn off start/stop 😊

Me too, as soon as I get in the car I turn it off :D

I still forget sometimes 😁

It's a shame there's no permanent way of turning it off

Hello everyone, first post here.

I have just been contacted from the dealer, my Octavia is completed and is waiting for transport. I ordered it on 07.02.2022. I haven't fill the excel sheet yet. It's Octavia Ambition 1.5 TSI, manual, with few extras. First production week was 36, than 47, and than back to 39, and finally to 40 when it was completed. Good luck to everyone waiting for their ordered Octavia's.

My build date went ahead as planned 12/09/22 and my car arrived at my dealership a few days ago. I collect on Saturday :)  I’ll update the spreadsheet once I’ve collected . She’s beautiful

Nice one...!! My build went ahead 26/09/22 but unfortunately has been held at the factory "awaiting a component". No idea what the missing component is, the dealer is unable to tell me... Hopefully won't be too much longer.

I feel sorry for the dealerships as ŠKODA seem to give them no information at all

Bit of an update on my company car (vRS iV Estate - Ordered Nov '21).

Leasing company App now states that it is 'At Converters' but ETA is still early Jan. '23.

Awaiting a call back to find out exactly what 'At Converters' means.

Hmm, I wonder if that means I might be some time soon.  I'm a UK customer (Perth), ordered a race blue IV estate on the 4th of October with tow bar, winter pack, wireless charging and rear camera (which should have been standard IMO), so nothing too fancy.

My first post on this thread: my car was also built during the week beginning 26/09/22 (week 39), but is also "stuck" awaiting component(s). I ordered a VRS 2.0tsi manual with DCC on 22/2/2022.

Any update is better than nothing I guess :). Have you added any extras on it? My VRS iV still does not have a build date, ordered August ‘21

My dealer tells me he has another 4 cars in the same situation... Mine is also a VRS 2.0 tsi with DCC (ordered 14th feb 22) but I also have the DSG box and reversing camera... I know it's a bit of a leap but perhaps it's a DCC chip issue causing the delay?

Mine was waiting for missing parts for cca 5 months, I hope you get yours faster.

My car was planned for week 43. I have received info today, that it is already waiting for transport. Dealer says this usually takes two weeks, but it can also be less. I still can't believe I waited more than 15 months for a car. :)

Omg omg, I’m almost as happy for you as I was for my car 😉 Finally 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Do keep us informed 👍

This is just in time. I heard many companies and individuals are cancelling orders, due to impending recession.

My warm congratulations! Finally.

Will be happy to take over the crown of the longest waiter! :D

I don't think it will be much longer for you. These are all already ridiculous waiting times.

I can't work out how to update the spreadsheet but ordered a poverty spec 1.5 SE estate in race blue with winter pack a velorum alloys on 8.11.21. It's being delivered direct from Skoda 1.11.22. Quite disappointed I haven't made the exclusive year long wait club! I paid £21.700 for it. They seem to have gone up a bit, like everything else. My first Skoda so interested to see what it's like 👍
