Hi guys, I was checking the car over up on the lift this evening and discovered a slight leak of oil at the chassis end of the gearbox. It was coming from quite high up but there is nothing above where the end plug/cap in the casing. I think it might have rusted/corroded through.

 

Is this end cap easily replaceable and is it available to order from TPS is what I'm wondering? I'll find out on Monday anyway but I thought someone here might know. Also does anyone have any pics of how it should look in place?

Looks like you'd have to measure it to get the right part number, unless it has a part number on the side you can see?

I couldn't see a part number but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. I can't say I noticed the big circlip to hold the cap in either so that's something I'll have to look at too.
