Hello skoda octavi 4 Coding List and Adaption

Featured Replies

A bit off topic question but does Skoda reseller will see it if I did coding on my O4 ? And what would it lead to ? I know that they can see it and cancel the warranty but what about facts ?

Imho they are almost useless. There are times when i use them, but they should not activate every time after the car is started. Usually i just want to clean my glass, not the whole front of the car :)

so if they are useless why is it law for certain cars to have headlight washers?

Honestly i think it's a thing from the past. The jets just cant wash the headlights. Just like you can't wash your car with brushless car washers :)

To reduce/prevent glare from accumulated dirt on the headlight lenses when LED or Xenon lamps are fitted.

Looks hopeful...they seem to have been able to enable it using VCDS:

"Activate cruise control already extra option (Auto must be equipped with ACC by default)"

What app are you using?

I'd say the crap on the lights itself reduce glare more. Headlights being wet from the washers make more glare :)

Picture is from OBD11 and id4.

We'll have to agree to disagree there B)

So we shouldn't drive when raining? Because too much glare? :D

I have just used them yesterday. And actually I was surprised how clean they were after the wash.

Mostly on winters here is alot of salt on the roads. When driving in larger roads (like always when going to work) the traffic always gets the smushy salty snow on your car.

That salty slush is not going away with water sprays. Unfortenately winter in Helsinki is mostly near 0c,

Same here in Slovenia with the temperatures. ;) I know exactly what you are talking about. And as I said I was pleasantly surprised how well the jets have cleaned that salty dirt from the lights.

Ok i found out that we need to verify 3 steps in registration which was normal, then brake must be on, hood open, ignition on...  SFD unlock each module in aplication , not only 1 , u need to unlock all...after that u ll be able to do some coding. So i finally  managed to turn of seatbealt warning, drl etc, ok did you you findout that u can watch even you tube videos even with handy off, without youtube premium acc or watching tv throug mirror link but mobi needs to be on. And all that while driving a car

What do I need to do active video in motion so I can watch YouTube. I am an android user

someone asked for video on display. NO! its not mirroring bt aplication u can use has also mirroring . its called fermata auto . u can watch you tube , tv through mirroring. but there is  some steps before you can install this app on yours mobi. first of all u need to install king instaler then AAAD app, you can find it on net. after that try to find version fermata auto 1.8.7 and install with king instaler. You can easiliy find all tutorials on github.com

Android auto with new version has some restrictions so only way is install with king installer and if you want control through stering wheel there is fermata control. cheers.  it looks like pic down. hope admin  will allow this post . free vers of aaad will allow downloading only 2 app. aaad.thumb.jpg.800de9a5a8eba9d7f2811a22cce648eb.jpg

I have now got fermata auto installed onto my phine via AAAD but now what do I need to do to be able to watch YouTube on my infotainment system

I have the same issue.

soundaktor app says not supported and in CU 09 the structure Bourne sound adaptation in not visible.

someone stated that the cause is the IOS app, but i have no access to an android device to test.
let me know if you could.

I got it to work on my vRS. Constantly pops up annoying ACC not working messages, but it works. And the car doesn’t randomly brake, like the mess that is ACC.

Finally manage to code some stuff:

Boost pressure

Engine power and torque

Engine oil and gearbox temperature now showing in display.

Yes, this has been successfully activated in my Skoda Octavia IV using OBDeleven Pro:

Standard ACC (Adds an additional option in menu of metering display)

Control unit 13

Long coding

Cruise control mode

Set to: Activated
