Yes, charger on the battery, ignition in the prevent all i do, engine Off.

The Last Update 742 be a Error and than i klick retry/Resümee and than all ist black.

 

Damn, can Skoda rescue it? Or ist cheaper buy on eBay? 

 

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes doesnt be Help? That was bedeutet my Last try. Tomorrow

Just to report that a few days before New Year my dealer got official information from Skoda about the 1800 version in Germany. Today we successfully did update of the Bolero infotainment, so I can finally use my A54 for AA. However, the activation of the wifi smartlink failed as the last time. I believe I'm doomed using ottocast for wifi smartlink. Maybe it's not a bad solution as I can use it in other cars. The dealer told me that after almost 2 months there is no feedback from Czech Republic, so today he opened a new ticket. The saga continues...

i have the K version on my Kamiq and is made in january 2023.... so no wireless Smartlink for me...

Initially, I checked everything apart from (PR code 9WT and I8P or I8Q) whether it would apply to my car, and I ticked off all the boxes. Afterward, the dealer did it once, and after the 1st failure, I asked him to do it again, and everything was fulfilled. My car was produced in 2021, with a Bolero unit ending with D, now the last software 1800. After the 2nd failure, I told him not to bother anymore. However, he insisted, if somebody contacts him back from Czech Republic he would inform me ASAP.  My trim is Clever, basically Ambition with a handful extra options, but less than Style, so I'm wondering if that's the problem. However, it shouldn't be, since Skoda produced my car, and I haven't done it my garage.

I do not understand why so many of you take the risk of doing this instead addressing to dealer.

Car software seems like a "grey"area, lots of Area 51 sections:) .

My car is under warranty that is the main reason I went for the dealer. Also update to 1800 was free, as long as you know how to express your position most likely you won't pay:).

 

I only paid for the Wireless AA license.

I don't know if you are referring mainly to me. However, my car is still under warranty, as is yours, and I've insisted that the dealer apply every update so far, and it was always free of charge. I paid a much lower price for Ottocast since it was in the crowdfunding phase then.

Is there a solution to this? Mine is also K-version. Maybe missing hardware part or could be re-flashed with different version like A or B?

Kindly suggest the update for Auto Android/ apple carplay if available. Date of manufacturing is Aug 2023.

I made an upgrade from 0469 to 0742. At first there were problems, but after another attempt everything looked fine(in the logs device name scope everything is 'OK'). I proceeded with another update and got 'error 15 Mandatory tag not found.'. 0742 is the latest firmware for your unit, you should not go higer

if you don't have AA / carplay activated, you need to go to dealer and pay for activation.

 

If you have it activated, but it does not work with new Samsung phones, you need to update. 

SW1800 is for Europe

In India you need local SW

This error is displayed depending on how many folders are on the pendrive for example, if there are three folders on the pendrive then each is displayed as this error . Before the update from 0469 to 0742 everything displayed correctly, each folder.
Today I scanned ODBEleven and noticed that I have error F5 B201A, I don't know if it can be related to this error when trying to update
