I assume you have a DCC chassis... have you already retrofitted the slider for adjustment or do you still have the fixed profiles?

@travs you may have found your date to the ball if @Cairus can help you with the DCC slider mod...

It is DCC but haven’t found anyone who does the DCC Slider Mod. Last guy we thought would be able to do it was ApertureS but he’s drifted away from the forum.

I also only have VCDS and I think you need ODIS or VCPro…

Do you know anyone that can help or have you done it yourself?

Update on this - getting some groaning from the nearside top mount when turning the wheel for manoeuvring; usually when turning right but occasionally when unwinding right lock or turning left.

I wonder if it might be down to the Arteon Top mounts being thicker and therefore being more compressed or putting different pressure on the bearing. If its not by design it might be logically sound but still not quite right...

Brakes replaced. The Mtec/ATE stuff was ok but I definitely felt like I was pressing harder on the pedal when having to haul the speed off when loaded up.

Still just finishing bedding in so haven’t used these in anger yet but they look decent and I’m enjoying the lack of groove/noise. Getting old.

Front - Golf CS reps made by SHW performance.

Rear - VBT CS lookalikes to match.

Pads are Ferodo DS2500 all round

Not sure if you got this sorted, if not then rotate the spring as I had the Arteon top mounts install and my passenger side was groaning aswell then i took it back to the garage and got the spring rotated abit, all sorted.

I had the guys at my Indy have a little look when they did the service and couldn't see anything obvious. I did speak to them about rotating the spring but they said that the spring goes in the cup and the end of the coil it butted up where it should be in the cup so I didn't think there was any room for adjustment on that unless its rotating the spring away from from its final position. I didn't look at the parts up close before taking them to be fitted and struggling to get a really good in depth video on youtube...

New (to me) wheels. McLaren 570 super light options. 7.5kg which should translate to less inertia to change wheel speed. And they look ****ing lovely. And will be so easy to clean!

While the front wheel was off I had a go at rotating the spring. It turned easier than I imagined, because the hub was hanging free. Will see what it’s like when manoeuvring. Fingers crossed!

Is it me or there aren't many wheels that suit the Superb! Generally wheels that look great on an Octavia/Golf look ok on the Superb!

They need more kerb rash to suit that car ;)

They look very tidy!

I do prefer an angled look than perpendicular to the car. I also think if they weren’t diamond cut they’d look slightly softer. But they’re a good looking wheel in general, they’re forged, rare as hen’s teeth and exceptionally light. Are they perfect for the car? Maybe not but I absolutely love them for all that they are.

Potential to do list:

Alu subframe and LCAs

Uprated 380mm front brakes and 4pots

Either Stage 2 - likely Trackslag downpipe with 200cell cat and additional silencer in pace of GPF.

Or

This APR Stage 3 standard GPF option

Would love to see if Raclingline do an alternative to this but can't see anything yet.

Make sure u get the right LCA cause Golf, A3, S3 etc LCAs r too short for the Superb.
