Auto Closing Windows coding troubles

Featured Replies

Hi, I have been facing difficulties with enabling "windows auto closing". I have tried looking online in places such as Golf MK7 forums, briskoda forums and google in general. My friends Octavia mk2 has the option for this but i have so far had no luck with locating such feature on my Octavia mk3 2016 estate. Any idea how to able to enable it? In short what this feature does is when you close the windows with the key fob and let go, they continue going up until all of the them are closed.

Below i have inserted a screenshot from the Obdeleven diagnostic interface that I use to modify mine and my friends cars.

Any help would be much appreciated, all the best

Pete

All windows do need to be calibrated.  Press and hold the up/down button each window for 10 seconds and their upper and lower most extremities.  To activate the one-touch close, press and HOLD the keyfob and windows should go up on lock and down on open.

This function works just fine, i want the windows to continue closing after i let go of the key fob button.

Also thanks for the reply :D

It doesn't work that way, you have to hold the key fob button until the windows close.

^^^^...unless you have rain closing enabled, in which case windows will close fully if it starts raining.

Since OP is asking about manually closing the windows with the key fob not rain closing that's not totally relevant here.

But it does NOT work that way on the MQB platform Octavia Mk3 (the electronics are totally different to an Octavia Mk2) , that's what I'm saying - all you have to do is hold the key fob button down until the windows are closed.
