Elroq: Who else has ordered?

Featured Replies

So for those that are interested, 2 weeks in and 1200 miles I can happily report that the car is superb. The Wife is very happy with the vRS. Super quiet and very comfortable. Given the drop in temps over the last couple of weeks, the car is giving roughly 250 miles in range. Not bad for an 85kw battery and a car that's just over 2200 kilos.

Only niggle is regards to not being able to hang up a car using the steering wheel controls. Road noise is minimal even on the massive 21s. I took the wheel trims off the other day to wash the car and the alloys underneath are pretty nice however the massive drum brake on the rear isn't. I must say though, I felt a little better when I say an Audi Q4 with the same said drum brake at the rear. I'd also like to see more options to customise the instrument cluster, it's a bit bland.

The HUD is really good especially when using the built-in sat nav however Waze doesn't project onto the HUD.

Overall a great car up to now. The Wife has decided that she'll use Eco on a long run and Individual on shorter journeys. The suspension on Normal is quite floaty (if you like that kind of thing) so we've chosen the Sport setting for the dampers in Individual and everything else in normal apart from the steering which we have in Sport.

Tip for those when you collect, check your tyre pressures, ours were all over the place.

  • I've ordered mine last week  (85 Edition with Maxx package in brilliant silver) and the anticipated delivery date they've given me is 14th of May. It'll be interesting to see when the car is actually

  • That’s why I kept my 85 edition to under 40k, going to miss the matrix lights and the electric tailgate, but have a workaround “shut the boot dear”

Just placed my order for my new Elroq; Edition 85 with a few extras - garage advised 17-19 weeks, so hopefully here for the New Year!

Just heard from the Dealer that the car is with them ready for delivery - lease company just haven't yet authorised it....any day now (hopefully).

So August 18th order placed, build week 43, <6 weeks to UK and dealer inspection/registration etc. completed before w49!

Final spec was Elroq 85, Plus Pack, Winter Pack, Heat Pump and in Grey

I'm waiting on my new Elroq, it's already in stock so I should have it the first week of January.

Just picked up my new 85 Edition, bit of a change from my Superb Sportline (which was excellent) even if a little thirsty.

Absolutely loving the Elroq so far, especially not having to pump £70 a week in the fuel tank!

Parting ways with our lovely Roomster and its DSG issues, and awaiting a smokey diamond 60 mid-tier spec car in September as a new daily.
Between letting the Roomster go or similar age Octavia 3, it was an easy choice...

Sadly Sportline has been removed from the offerings for the 2027 models, so no chance of "alcantara" (unless as vRS).
It was around 5000 euro package to get the Canton - which seems debatable how worth they are - so need to consider a subwoofer and DSP amplifier pakcage at around 1100 euro for the smaller, standard audio package... If anyone having some insights, let me know.

Just ordered an 85 edition in graphite with suite seats and transport pack.

awaiting delivery of my elroq SEL60. any tips??

I want to connect a dash cam. I want to activate the 24 hr parking mode. I saw something about using the obd fuse bypass the 12v battery running out. I don't know if that is a good idea. I have a home charger. Anytips on installing a dashcam

Just piggyback a constant and battery live with a hardwire kit that you can adjust the auto shutoff function. My Viofo dashcam hardwire kit has 4 low voltage setting that when it reaches the set point the camera shuts down, so protecting the 12v battery. I also have the camera set to parking mode.

Thank you so much

Nice - I think you mean DCC on drivers pack, as ACC is standard

Yeh, Chassis control. It was recommended to me

I had it in a few cars, played around with it when I got the car first and didn't bother with it after that just left it on the default setting.

I use it when I'm in the West Somerset area, you have some very nice drivers roads which go from nice, open straight to twisty and cambered, so I select the Sport setting on my Octavia RS, I know that I'm going to have to relearn my driving technique as the Elroq is RWD.
