That's a good point - mine is 4x4 with the multilink suspension

That'll be the difference I suspect👍

I recall reading there was a marginal difference in tyres between the 2WD and 4WD.

I looked at an Enyaq the other day and thought the 235/50/19 tyres looked like they'd give a forgiving ride, based on the amount of sidewall.

Similarly my old Jaguar is made primarily for comfort and has 235/50/18's

According to wheel-size.com, the 235 tyre size with a 19" diameter rim on the Enyaq is 235/55R19.

Also consider the rim width. The Enyaq's 8" rim width (8Jx19) with 235/55R19 tyres will give a harder ride compared to if Skoda had chosen a narrower rim such as 7J.

Skoda uses 7J rims for both the 235/55R18 and 235/50R19 on the Kodiaq MK1. The narrower rim width benefits not only the ride but gives more rim protection from kerbing damage because the sidewalls bulge out more.

I was driving along the M56 today with all driver aids engaged.

ACC was engaged at an indicated 74 MPH (GPS 70 MPH) and the 70 MPH speed limit sign was displayed on the dashboard.

The speed limit displayed on the dashboard suddenly switched to 100 MPH and the car accelerated in an attempt to reach the ton!

I immediately cancelled ACC, but 100 MPH continued to be displayed as the current speed limit for several miles.

I hadn't come across this before and wondered if the car had 'misread' something on the motorway?

Seems bizzare to think a car sold in the UK could autonomously set a target speed in excess of the speed limit 🤔

Silly question but did it flip to KPH rather than MPH?

I had wondered the same but I'm certain it said 100 MPH on the lower display (along with 100 in the red circle).

Also.........

Did you pass close to the back of a continental coach?

Not that I recall - I must check the Dashcam footage👍

Nonetheless it came as a surprise the car would Autonomously switch to a target speed of 100 MPH on a UK Motorway.

Thought the purpose of ACC was to maintain the set speed, adjusting to slower traffic in front and resuming the set speed when possible.

Is the speed limit shown on the dash from the sat nav maps or TSR?

Could there be a configuration setting for ACC that selects the limit from signage, but even so if you’d set the ACC to 60 on a motorway surely it shouldn’t then choose 70 from a road sign?

Either way a very alarming situation.

I'm glad our car doesn't have this. I don't feel as if I've missed out on anything at all.

Judging by most of the posts - and not just on this thread - maybe it should be called Predictive Adaptive Uncooperative Inattentive Contradictive and Obstructive Cruise Control.

I spose I'm just an old fart who'd rather do the driving himself.

Hmm interesting - another piece of tech that self driving vehicles would need like lane assist, self parking etc, that “we the motoring public” are system testing for the car companies. Not sure I’d want to use it though.

I find it a bit "bouncy" but not harsh if that makes sense? It's not uncomfortable.

"I miss the central storage box from the SE L."

Which box is this? The storage under the arm rests between the front seats? On top of the dash? Something else?

I didn't notice anything missing on the car I test drove, but it is a few months old.

The storage box on top of the Dashboard.

Has been a feature since Yeti days.

Was present on my 2023 SE L but deleted on the 2025 Sportline Edition 😬

Slightly off topic but do the bread light work when driving the car using ACC ?

I assume the 'bread' was a typo and should have been 'brake'

The answer is if ACC applies the brake to slow down rapidly , then yes the lights will be on.

If it only uses engine braking to slow down gradually then no

Hi , my typing could be better

Thank you for your reply

Yes it does - I find it irritating on A roads - you head into a dip and the car applies the brakes only to 'kick down' a moment later to climb out of the dip - I find myself knocking the ACC off momentarily to avoid the car braking - I'm pretty sure the following vehicle must get ****ed off with the constant brake light show?

The basic cruise is better inasmuch as it doesn't mind gaining a few MPH going downhill - but it does need keeping in check on longer downhill sections.

Interestingly, the storage box on the dashboard is missing in my 74 reg 1.5 SE-L. I also have SKODA written across the steering wheel rather than the badge, so I guess my car was just on the cusp of some of the recent small design changes.

PS: prompted by looking at your comprehensive initial post: I haven't been able to establish what my infotainment online lifespan entitlement is yet - I'm sort of hoping it will be 3 years as I really do like to have updated maps and live traffic in particular. Also - I'd have thought that the connect functions for service etc would have been a lifetime thing. How else do we access records or change dealerships for service and so on? Perhaps some of the functionality is always there (?) I will have to ask my local dealer how I access these things if they do expire at some point.

I suspect (hope) that some kind soul will advise/correct me on here. Please bear with me folks - I will get there eventually....!

@fenlli Regarding whether you have 12 months or 36 months free, on the App under Profile it says paid services and shows an expiry date. If I recall correctly when I got the car in April 24 the expiry was Dec 24, indicating the free 12 months ended on that date. This is what mine shows now.IMG_6589.png

Regarding updates I just got this displayed when going into the App. Which I think refers to App updates although it suggests Infotainment changes so maybe there is a related car software update.IMG_6588.png

Just checked the My Skoda App and see the Paid Services section of the Profile area gives the dates various services expire.

Screenshot_20250729_220146_Mykoda.jpg

On my former 2023 car these services expired after one year (I renewed remote access when they offered a significant discount).

On the 2025 car I appear to have 3 years care connect and infotainment online, although only 1 year Traffication.
