Got back just after 7. bloody long trip. 10 hours in all. very good weekend

got to my parents house near Chepstow after 209 mile, 3hour 36 minute drive from Dover ,god i'm knackered , very briskoda run back from the "Ring" with Roo , Flatfourburble and Devonutopia , i will be amazed if we dont get loads of speeding tickets dropping on the mat in the next few weeks ,although i must admit we hardly saw a police vehicle in Belgium and only saw them in Germany around the Nurburgring F1 track on DTM raceday , enjoyed driving the "Ring" i think it needs to be experienced by everybody who thinks they can drive a car quick , also enjoyed the company with a big thanks to everybody and especially to WrightyRS for organising it right i'll try and get some sleep now but my heads still buzzing .

Eventually got back after the Tunnel breaking down yesterday.

It was a very good weekend by all accounts,

I'm glad we all got there safe and sound and returned in the same state.

I had a great time and it was really good to meet some of you,

i think we have some more people who are going to be making frequent trips now!!!

Just got back myself. Was going to come straight back off the boat last night but with all the 40 mph speed limits, I was tired and bored so we got a room.

Thanks Alex for organising things, and a special thanks for the grub on the first night.

Was great to see some new faces, and of course experience some more 'Ring action

I managed 39 laps in the weekend, and Loz had a go too.

I have alot of pictures, some vids, and alot to say about my Octavia, all appearing soon as I find the time, but all in all a fab trip

Next time come along anyway and have some passenger laps with other people.

As great as it is driving around the circuit the social side was just as much fun, the drinking and having a laugh in the evenings is what makes trips like these even more enjoyable.

If more people want to go next year then i'm sure another trip will be organised, i'm not volunteering just yet, a few weeks time and i may!!!!

But i'll be going next year, in fact i'm going again this year so next year will not be a problem.

I'm thinking season ticket for next year

It's a place everyone needs to go before they die, a true mecca for petrol (and diesel) heads.

And the beer/food/company were all good too. I just wish it was nearer :(

The story is, that one or two of the "group" bought Nurburgring jackets, and I said that whenever they wore said jacket, they would look a tw@.

I bought one myself the next day , but, they are really nice, and I don't need a jacket to make me look a tw@

yeah, you called lee a t0sser! so then he called it you back, but with a cockney accent!! so ever after that, if you wear the jacket you will be referred to as TOSSSAAAHHH!!!!
