Get onother one then!!

There cheap as chips over here, you'll get a half decent one for under a grand, and a little more will buy a facelift version.

Great as a weekend toy, drifting potential is fantastic!!

I'll second that.

Classic, Concours, low mileage - Ford Escort 1300E (GXL). Sebring Red, Vinyl Roof, Wood, leather steering wheel, black trim, Rostyle steel wheels, Mexico Bodyshell & Hella driving lamps.

Kept it for 10 years and sold it to a guy who promised to restore it but instead ripped out the interior to put in his Mexico and stripped/scrapped/sold the rest...

Learned to drive in a Nissan Sunny. Once I passed my test, I drove my Mum's Vauxhall Nova (Remember them?? :D) before we got one of the first VW Polo's in 95 (we had that until this July from new. Still running well too!!)
