The Fabia is usually driven by his father.

And no, Haven't got a Roomster, just haven't figured out how to change my profile, I got a Fabia VRS.

Incidentally, at 18 I was a RWD hooligan in a Talbot Sunbeam

Lucky young Gass! amazing what you can do when your daddy has lots of money. It's the 2nd Fabia WRC the family has now, as Daddy Gass already has his own.

I've heard Mr Donnelly might be purchasing a Fabia WRC too and letting his bro have his current Corrolla WRC.

Not trying to take over the thread, but...

Rootes group:thumbs:

I always wanted a Sunbeam Stiletto. It was like a fastback Imp.

My MD at work had a Holbay Hunter that he drove all the way to Greece and back during a summer holiday.

You just can't beat a car with twin 40 webbers. All that mechanical goodness. Better than electronics any day.

Vauxhall Nova 1.2

At 18, in 1998 I was driving a year old Seat Ibiza 1.4 SE. Pretty basic but I thought it was the dogs danglies!

An A reg MG Maestro 1600, complete with anoying voice and twin Weber Carbs, cost me

Tis a go cart for the street, and it was btilliant, except it was from the italian steel mini era :(

I couldn't afford a car at 18, but I did drive my Dad's Cavalier from 17. It handled terribly, but I suppose it was quite comfortable!

Riding Suzuki T500

Trying to cast my mind back to 18...

I think probably a Mk2 Escort 1,6 ghia, with sporty bits on, and probably later that year a 3litre Capri.

Old Y reg Mk1 Golf 1297? CL, Yamaha DT125 Lc Powervalve unrestricrted and Tractors. ooare

At 18, I hadn't learnt to drive... so the only thing I was driving was... my dad up the wall, when I kept asking him for lifts everywhere ;)

Passed my test when I was 21, first car was a B reg Mini City in Brown - I think it was called nutmeg brown or cinnamon brown or summat along those lines! It kept breaking down on long journeys so I only kept it a coupla months and then traded it in for an Astra 1.3....
