Love it or hate it people will rush out and try and retro fit as many bits as they can to the MK1

update :)

I actually quite like that!

update :)

Gotta say I really like that!

Knew it would scrub up nicely with some proper paint and wheels :)

I believe there are some rumours there will be a presentation at Karlovy Vary tomorrow, and maybe thats where those cars are off to? Czech friends? :)

I like it, it looks good, bang up to date yet still retains the Skoda look.... no doubt there were similar coments on the Octavia forum when the first pictures of the Octy II came out, and now everyone loves it.

No doubt in 18 months time everyone will be "knocking one out" over the Fabia II and paying daily visits to their dealer to see if their Fabia II VRS has been delivered yet.....

I am stunned, what a great looking car. Will be buying a new one this time next year or maybe sooner:rolleyes: :D

heres a video of a few YouTube - New Skoda Fabia

Eerie. I expected to see a couple of Dobermans bounding across the compound towards the cameraman.

Hmm....not keen. That photochop makes it look ok although still slightly Panda/ Suziki Swift-ish. No doubt the vRS will look ace though.

wooooo:thumbup: new fabia gets a test drive today on autocar.co.uk looking forward to reading it:)

It's probably been remapped, with a hybrid turbo and a straight through exhaust.

Should be more info later today, but more photos are out. Interior identical to the Roomster. Will come with the option of a roof a different colour to the body.

The interior on that looks ace IMHO, and it looks better in that colour rather than this orange iv'e been seeing it in.

I want to see one thrashed round a track now:D

What's with that massive monstrosity of a car kit!?

D

The interior in that pic is the same as on the Roomster 3, which I've sat in. The fabric makes the interior nice and bright, and it feels and smells nice with the leather bits. Maxidot is a posh touch too, only thing I didn't like was the chrome effect bits being plastic and not actual chrome like on the old Fabia.

"The boot cover, which can be installed at two different heights, increases the flexibility and functionality of the boot."

Any idea what this means? Presumably it is neither the cover over the spare wheel nor the parcel shelf.

Error - pics already posted

Nice spec , its a shame nearly all the good stuff are going to be cost options though.

Good review on Autocar: Skoda Fabia - Road Test First Drive - Autocar.co.uk

Sounds like they liked the 1.2 as well :)

From what I read, this stood out the most

"plus the ubiquitous 1.9 with 105 bhp. A higher output vRS diesel (an output very similar to the old model

"Spins smoothly up to 60000rpm"? How big is the revcounter on that then?...lol! Also 0-62mph in 16.5 seconds for the 6V 1.2...and I thought my car was sloooooow! I might have do order a brochure when they are availible though , just for research purposes , you understand....:P

Gosh, it doesn't look pretty does it. I thought the Roomster nose would look good on it, but this picture...

Makes it look very, very lofty.
