Well, I had success. Using the printed off maps from google maps I was able to use tomtom's "browse maps" to find the correct road for the hotel. It's not actually "Kubansque Square" on tomtom, but the Czech for it. Stored that as a favourite. I found the Skoda museum just browsing the POIs for Mlada Boleslav, so have stored that as well. Also have the Czech border, Dover and what I believe to the un-named road leading to the Doksy show stored.

I do recommend using the "browse maps" function though. Much easier. Have to finish packing and give my glass a clean now.

Actually, it was just a 2 minute job with some glass cleaner. I'm starting to be glad I'm bringing my 17" alloy spare with me. A great little food dispensary area. Guess the bags are going on the back seat....

And if anyone wants 3/4 litre of premixed washer fluid let me know. I mixed a bit too much before attempting to put it in my bottle, so have put 750ml into 3 bottles and put them in the boot. Anyone is welcome to them, but I'm sure everyone has also brimmed their washer fluid.

I've got my two walkies talkies walking and talking to one another just now. Won't bother using them until we get abroad though. Save the batteries. Setting off in about half hour or so - gentle cruise up M5/M4/M25 to Clackett Lane. might be there earlier than 11.

Well, just about getting everything ready to load the car up. Found some walkie talkies the other day, and have some batteries for them too but not sure how good they are.

I'll be coming down the motorway from Prague towards Plzen tomorrow afternoon, I'll honk and flash the lights if I see you. Watch out for a nutter in a silver BMW 3 series.

The weather is quite cold and rainy here, so bring your raincoats and jumpers.

Watch the bumps on the motorway to Prague, they can rip off your suspension. Past Plzen before Beroun.

Good shopping centre just off the motorway at Plzen, Olympia, got a KFC also. 2 Skoda dealers nearby also if you have any problems.

Cant you just taste the lovely Czech lager!
