Well, after a brilliant trip to CZ with some of you lovely lot I have now finally had chance to go through the hoardes of pics and videos I have acquired!!

Emily said we needed an anthem for the trip....and this one kinda became mine so for anyone who was asking me what I was gonna put it to, here you can find out!! lol

- but for some reason the first few slides dont change on time - please rememeber it WAS perfect when I made it! lol

My highlights were:

all the trip 'phrases' people accidentally came out with:

"If you can get us close I'll finish off"

"I don't like it when people come up my bum"

Another one, which you have to ask me for as it's unpostable :P

If anyone can remember the others I would be most grateful!!! (I'm sure Milly had one too!)

The group meal, Wills escalator slide, driving peoples cars on airfield/ring (thanks Q, Will, Alan, Adam and Col!), the sightseeing and the way our little group could make a joke out of ANYTHING!

Oh, and thanks Q and Nick for putting up with me singing in the car! haha!! I remember me and Q singing along to this a couple of times!! YouTube - Sean Kingston-Beautiful Girls hahaha!! It will forever remind me of you now Q!!! lol!!

and now, here's my summary for anyone who cares! (in black for ease on the eyes!) If not, then skip straight to the pics!!

Summary of the trip:

After getting kicked out of Dover for being an hour early, we all met up along the front ready to convoy to the check in for the 2am boat. Some bright spark tried to park up the police skoda that was driving past, before realising that it wasn't actually with us. I think the coppers thought we were mental, Milly was going to give them a Briskoda sticker!

A few people tried to sleep on the ferry, I was unsuccessful. I slept for about half an hour in the car at daybreak, only to wake up in a traffic jam, just before we got lost in a random belgian town, getting run over by people on bikes before realising we were walking down the cycle path. Getting lost stressed me out so much that I remained awake for the rest of the day!

Will was first to the czech border, Steve was the last, and my goodness was he MORTIFIED! loooossseerrrr!!!!!!

On arrival at the hotel, we located the nearest bar (next door) and started to drink on the street in the sun, which was very pleasant!! A small while later we noticed will and PostmanPat were missing. They arrived after dark to cheers and claps. Will, after refusing Emily's offer of sat nav, had got lost in Prague, driving aimlessly round and even down a flight of steps. There's only one will......thank god!

The first day we meandered down to a breakfast of cheese, ham, breadsticks, cornflakes, museli, yoghurt and some weird cake. By the last day I'd actually got the knack of cutting the breadsticks to make sandwiches!

Our brewery tour wasn't until 2pm, so a few of us caught the tram into the city. Little did we know that those trams are like mini rockets! We had barely got on when it shot off, scattering us in all directions!!

Jeff, Emily, Will, Colin and I then wandered off to explore, did some sight-seeing and went up the Tower on the Charles Bridge, where we watched a little video and Will & Jeff on the back row thought it would be funny to keep changing everyones headsets to random languages!

We crossed the bridge and saw the organ grinder....and will bought the CD We also called into the torture museum which was.....gruesome!!!

Everyone was supposed to meet at the hotel to go the the brewery, but as we were already close by we walked over, calling in a maccies where Colin went on the childrens slide, and we saw a small child unicycling down the street...... :confused:

We arrived at the brewery (steve was last - AGAIN!) had samples of the Staropramen, went on the tour, ate the malt, then drank more samples! Then it was off for tea in town, where a few nutters started on the absinthe! We headed back to the tram stop, where we were accosted by an American TV crew from some God channel, then proceeded to argue with them about whether God existed etc. Very random!

Next day was factory day! Went round the museum then on the the factory in a coach, as there were too many cars this year for us to drive ourselves. They also gave us headsets this time too! After dinner (maccies again, as we couldnt understand the CZ or German menu in the sports bar!) a nice man from the Skoda factory came out to give us some model cars, and tried to arrange for us to see some concept cars. Unfortunately this failed, but its the thought that counts!

That night we all went out together for tea, it was a nice place, lovely food and absolutely hilarious because our table got wasted on absinthe, tequila and cocktails! Thats how we found out will was gay On the way back to the tube Will did his infamous Escalator Slide, followed by jumping on walls, dow steps and falling over a big plant pot, flat on his face!!

The next day we did Doksy, although Pete programmed the wrong place into his sat nav and ended up on the other side of prague lol! Jeff, Emily and Col left after the meet, but I jumped in wth Q and Nick and went on the drive, then on to the airfield, where I found a baby snake, which was very cute until it started attacking everyone!! We did some group shots then it was off for tea again. Col, Andrew, Alan, Will and I got lost after tea trying to find the others in Wenceslas Square, because Col's sat nav wasn't finding any satellites!! We found them eventually and went for a drink.

Sunday was our free day to do more sight seeing, so off we toddled to the castle, cathedral, bridge, river, gift shops, wenceslas square and then to the bodies exhibition - real dead bodies and body parts, very, very interesting! (Will and Steve were scared! ). We then went shopping in erotic city before dinner in the oldest pub in czech, all the way down to the basement, stone walls, long wooden tables and dead animals on the walls, it reminded me of a medieval banquet!! After that we visited the sex museum, and watched some porn from the 1900's!! We gave it narration, which entertained us greatly!

Next day was time to say bye bye :( We jump started Roo's car, as he'd left the beer chiller plugged in over night! Talk about priorities! lol!!!

Off we went to Tesco for alcohol, then set off for the ring!! We all did our laps and I was on a high for about an hour afterwards!!

We missed two ferries and ended up on the midnight crossing, Will, Col and myself invented 'Deck Olympics' while some of the others slept, finally getting back to Jeff and Emily's at 3am-ish, I was asleep in the back of Jeff's car by then! lol!

All in all it was a fantastic trip, and it was great to see you all again!! Hope to see you soon!!!

Well I was going more for the social aspect, as the car aspect has already been covered really. I was generally with Will, Jeff, Emily and Col so most of the pics are of us!! Some of the pics will be off colins camera which gave me an opportunity to actually be in some for a change!!

All these pics are bringing back memories of when i went to CZ in 2004 with 2 of my mates in an old Estelle 120L, 1600 miles over 7 days, i'm going back next year.

The vid will be hosted as long as my bandwidth allowance doesn't scream over too much, the server is pretty fast so if you have a fast link it should pull down at max speed. That said, hopefully P2P or streaming will be possible at some point
