Is that still a custom map?? If so... very tempting!!! Not yet though - slight cash flow problem...

Currently it feels as if it's developing about 80 bhp but that's not their fault :D

What you done to it?

It's this poxy misfire - really bad the last few days since its 70k service  Suppose I will have to bite the bullet and get them to look at it (visions of lots of noughts floating in front of my eyes ... :( )

Rolling Roads mean jack when compared to real road driving.

Cheers

Spot On

Don't get hung up on pure dyno results alone...

How it drives and how you like it to deliver power is more important to actual 'Headline numbers'

SEATCuptra.net have run @ Stealth racing a number of times with an array of tuners customer cars there>>

May be an interesting read>> http://www.seatcupra.net/feature_stealthrrday250104.htm

Well siad Saul :D

So says the man with HOW MANY shire horses under the bonnet??

True though, I'd rather have less power but a wider power band, than have masses of power over a very narrow band :)

And just to stir things up a bit :D

looks like AwesomeGTI/APR have thrown the gauntlet down

UK-MKIV thread

As a take on this why not have a day/event small track where all can come and have demo's...

At the end of the day each product IS the same price.

Each product gives you a benefit.

Each product has a unique selling point.

Each product has good and bad reviews.

Each product is as good as another.

I think the fairness of this event would be simply to proove the above. Allowing us to focus and develop more for the greater good.

To back up the original thread, this was discussed a long time before this or the mk-iv's thread and I personally thought it as a good idea.

Now for the marketing...APR, Jabba, AmD and Revo all good in my mind. I choose APR because of the "package", not just a remap. 2nd Choice was Jabba why? A well trodden road...if I lived closer then maybe AmD and maybe Revo...

I would choose differently for each type of car, money in the bank. Presently I think this is a good plan for a day if kept on the light hearted it does what it says on the can day with a bit of a blast around a track or strip...each one has benefits, but how do they drive?
