My opinion shouldn't matter, should it? ;) I had a love/hate relationship with mine and I'm sure that you'll wish at times you'd left it standard, whilst on other days it can't be a big enough spoiler...

Looks good though ;)

Heh, Mrs Speednut convinced now too? ;)

I think that is the one i'll get...... maybe.....possibly.....one day.......sometime soon........

doesnt vrs_si have the curved spoiler on his octy?

ive got a big curved wing like the one pictured above. i absolutely love it. but then its down to personal preference. i still have my old octy vrs that is still pretty much standard with the standard rear wing and i prefer the big one. i was considering getting the WRC wing but apparently it produces to much drag on high speed runs. iam sure des will confirm that.

different car i know but ive had no problems running ihi for 18months and its a daily driver. make sure they fit a boost controller then you can adjust the power to the conditions ect.

my leon lost its around town nippyness, its harder work in that you cant use the throttle as an on and off switch.

however the power is immense and very exciting, you relearn to drive it and once youve got used to it .... it pure fun :)

hard work queueing on a slip road on a wet monday morning though... but the looks from others that can hear the exhaust burbling are worth it.

Just that all the IHI Octy's I have been in are, how shall we say it......boring.

Leeboys sounds more like it but I haven't had the pleasure.

how heavy are octys?

there's the power but whats the weight?

Not sure of the figure but obviously somewhat heavier than your rocket ship although the Octy can come with 4WD

Think iirc its fairly light for a modern car around the 1.3-1.4Tonne mark

ibiza std was >1200kg, now 1000kg

wondering what 2wd and 4wd octys weigh

4wd would be nice with the higher power levels for sure.

my S8 just goes, wet or dry with phat tyres and quattro fuss free

1375kg for 2wd and 1470kg for 4x4 listed here> Skoda

4wd would be nice with the higher power levels for sure.

I know where there might be one for sale shortly ;);)
