  1. OTOH, the weaker you make it, the more likely it is to freeze, and if you're lucky you push out one or more core plugs: If you're not lucky you crack the block and.or head.
  2. I'd want to know how they inspected for bent valves after finding that out.
  3. Being made in or imported to Germany, for an automotive application I think.
  4. Why? I mean it's possible, but a cam chain is lifed over 100_000 miles IIRC.
  5. It's not wrong to run a higher anti-freeze concentration than the minimum recommended.
  6. I can see it not being compatible with flailing about under the back bumper to open the boot. Still, if you want a car with both, order from Carwow with them marked as dealbreakers, then you either get them of Carwow have to break their contract with you.
  7. The car is right hand drive, the illustration on the cover is wrong hand drive.
  8. Garage has f***ed up the cam timing and/or not refitted the boost pipes properly.
  9. Best practice would be to replace the belt rather than retensioning the existing one. Also, I'd ask what sort of contribution the "technicians" that changed the radiators and thermostat are prepared to give you as compensation for unnecessary works, I'm that sure the issue is the water pump.
  10. @Jocko The reversing alarm and Stop/Start (if fitted) only work when you're reversing the car and/or in normal driving with the engine up to temperature. By your own testament, neither of these conditions has yet applied,
  11. And? Most "limited" editions are "limited to how many we think we can sell", unless they're also numbered like, say the Skoda Fabia vRS SE mk1 which has a an edition number plate on the fascia.
  12. I think the vRS may be ~20mm lower, but that's all in the springs: the wheel/tyre package has the same rolling radius within about 4mm one way or the other.
  13. I read that as " thermostat expansion bottle and cap"; 2 items rather than 3.

Well, there's this thing called the Internet...
  15. Have you considered changing the thermostat instead of just firing the parts cannon at the car?
  16. Quote the chassis number to a good body shop.
  17. You are aware that the AC will disable if the air temperature drops to 3C or lower? At which point the ventilation system will deliver ambient temperature or heated air, but not cooled or dehumidified.

Like @AnnoyingPentium I'm thinking check the linkage adjustment first.
  19. Lock the car using the key, not the plip.
  20. I can't remember exactly how off-hand, but you may find that you can adjust the bass level (hint, set it to 0) using the volume control dial.
  21. For sure that is totally for sure for sure.
  22. Even a bit much? Like 5 lines of tracing cluff too much. Seriously, I chopped your link at the "?" character on line 1 and it still works.
  23. Hi

    Hi buddy.
  24. OTOH it doesn't need to be a belt breakage that is the actual issue; you can have a failure of the timing belt tensioner with similar effects but an intact belt.
  25. Which is maybe 2.1bar. The 2.5 in the fuel filler is about 37 or 38 PSI.
