Depressurise fuel system - diagnostic tool required?
That can only get worse, until your car vanishes in a cloud of its own steam.

Newb with new to me 01 1.8t 4x4 Estate
The leather L&K interior is either hearing aid beige or grey. Why anyone bought a car with the HEB interior escapes.

Retrofit heated seat fit without draining battery
Take the power feed from an ignition live circuit, rather than a permanent live.

Climbing Performance
Pallas. Oh and the 1015, 1129 and 1222 cc variants (which went into other versions than just the Pallas) would fit into a 2CV, a Dyane or an Ami (petrol) as well as the 1299.

Hello!
Agreed. Also agreed about just how restricted the space in modern engine bays is. As for EGR, chat to some local to you taxi drivers about "who knows" stuff like EGRectomies.

Air con not demisting
Confirm a/c will be disabled by low temperature. As others, you need to crack a window (or the sunroof if fitted) to dump the wet air.

non Skoda Towbar on Superb III 2020 2.0 tsi 190 Sportline hatch
We are the Borg, Ur @$$ will be laminated!

Air con not demisting
It's borderline whether or not the air con will operate at current temperatures. What is the outside temperature (gauge) where you are when doing a cold start?

CLutch, at the end is when it disengage
Yes, but the 205 has a cable clutch, Fabias have hydraulic. Maybe, if you bleed it...
-
This might be a bit of a stupid question but is there anyway to put the mk5 gold rear lights on the mk1 fabia?
Given sufficient racer tape, sure...

Rear Tyres Have Stepped Wear
Ah, that makes sense. Run your hand both ways around the circumference and you should feel the saw-tooth edges. If so, swap the tyres front and rear on the same side of the car (LF to LR and vice versa).

Rear Tyres Have Stepped Wear
Not sure I understand this; I've never heard the term before. Any chance of some photos?

Hello from new member + wiper problem
Likely that's it if it's not the wiring; the wiper spindle isn't totally waterproof, and sometimes it leaks into the motor.

Leaking Thermostat Housing
Easy enough to (dis)prove; look for a wet patch or cooland residue just below the thermostat housing.

What Size Steel Rims for Winter Tyres for my Kamiq?
I've emphasised the model that would have had 5x100 wheels, for your special benefit.
-
Climbing Performance
In case anyone is at all unclear on this, car 98 (and I think the other Fords) is a 7.0l GT mk2, not a GT40 with a "small block" 4.7l engine.

Airbag light on, 05 Skoda Octavia estate
More accurately, "front passenger airbag off". It's for when/if you have a rear-facing baby seat on the front passenger seat. Other than that, airbag fault lights are normally latching, and require dealer grade software, such as VCDS, to be cancelled.

What Size Steel Rims for Winter Tyres for my Kamiq?
Were they bought for an Octavia 1 perhaps? If so, then the wheels are 5x100 and the bolt centres on the Kamiq are 5x112.

Oil leak
Loose bolt (or 2 bolts) on the cam/rocker cover?

" had my timing belt with water pump replaced. Then check coolant level - empty" filled up with roughly 2L of coolant.
Not taking the car to Arnold Shark is not an error.

" had my timing belt with water pump replaced. Then check coolant level - empty" filled up with roughly 2L of coolant.
Well, I think they have <censored> this up, in spades!

Which garage? This certainly does not look like Victoria Garage's work (Maud, AB42)

Alternator
With these recent cars the alternator is apt to be disabled unless the car thinks the battery needs more charge. If you also have Stop/Start, and you have a new(ish) to you battery, has it been mapped in to your car?

Mk4 VRS Manual box - Clutch slipping at 18 months old with 19k miles. Skoda saying they won’t help
Yes and? The OP explicitly says that they have a manual.

Skoda Octavia 1, electrical problems
Most likely a wiring problem in the driver's (LHF?) door bellows, needing the wires continuity checked, and maybe a new door loom.
