  1. A local to your new address brokerage is most likely to give you the best quotes etc for that address.
  2. Good guess unless you have an extended warranty you've not mentioned.
  3. It certainly seems so if people say that, say, ET45 is "more offset" than ET35. If they said the higher number was "more inset" it would be clearer.
  4. @Carlston didn't mention this explicitly, but higher diameter tyres may rub on the outer wheel arches, and possibly even on the inner arches too. This is more likely when one wheel (probably the outside one) moves into bump during cornering.
  5. @m_cooke999 - @JR RS photo looks like there are 2 back boxes, heat shields between them and the fuel tank, and no rear undertrays behind the axle line.
  6. Pu the lever all the way over to the 5-6 plane?
  7. @Willmond :- Please stop posting text in reverse video. It looks to me like you put the screwdriver in the hole and then push on it.
  8. Ferry nuff.
  9. OK, how does a 17" tyre on a 16" rim work then?
  10. "Engaging Super Pursuit mode Michael."
  11. @simong83 :- This looks at least sort of like a CANBus error. Try this; fill the tank until the click stop last thing on the way home, leave the car overnight, and check first thing next morning. It may well now be reading ~7/8 full, and you# don't want to go much fuller to leave an expansion volume. Try KwikFit; they usually advertise "Ndeg cooler or you don't pay" aircon refills.
  12. Yes; some of the ABS sensor failures don't latch if you turn the engine off and on again.
  13. Why? No, really why? Why are you wasting money on snake oil and then complaining about fuel economy?
  14. That makes me think diesel and/or coolant. Any smell of diesel, high fuel consumption or signs of mayonnaise?
  15. At least 3 in the Octy; the non-turbo and turbos at 150 and 180 bhp depending on trim and market. Then there's the 1.8t 220 in some Audis...
  16. You don't. The master cylinder is only just below the reservoir, and doesn't need bleeding.
  17. Yes, you need to read fault codes to confirm this, but one of the ABS wheel sensors is failing. If nothing else, the code will tell you which one.
  18. I'll leave @Aakayamyto answer this properly, but there are parts of Glasgow that are "Lincolnshire flat" and others that are some of the steepest hills in Scotland.
  19. Well, I repeat that the photos show parts for a plasma discharge headlight, specifically a D3S.
  20. You have a Superb 2. I'll get the "wrong forum" fixed. The parts you've illustrated are for a plasma discharge headlight or a front fog light, not for an indicator. So which do you actually have an issue with?
  21. He doesn't need to; use the Briskoda Private Message system. Hover on his profile picture, and press "Message" bottom left on the info/buttons shown.
  22. Link says it's correct if the car has halogen bulbs, but I suspect not if it has plasma discharge.
  23. Maybe try telling us which exact model you're looking for new units for?
  24. They broke it; if they can't fix it then they pay someone else to do so. It's the law.
