  1. OK, a pipe connection might have popped apart. There are four connections in the pipe going to the rear washer jet that can come apart. This happens more often if the correct strength of screenwash is not used. 1. The pipe connection at the pump under the wheel arch.... 2. One at the bulkhead near the abs unit.... 3. One behind the passenger side rear side trim near the rear seatbelt reel.... 4. Finally, inside the tailgate at the wiper motor....
  2. It could be a dry solder joint inside the instrument cluster. Or it could be the sender unit which is mounted on the fuel pump and accessed under the back seat (driver side). The clusters are known for developing dry solder joints and are pretty easy to remove, dismantle, and reflow the solder. Cluster repair video (for immobiliser but same procedure to access joints).... Fuel sender video....
  3. Did you do the job with the gearbox left in place?
  4. Are you sure it's not just condensation that's dripped from the bare metal roof that formed while you were at work?
  5. That was quick work Look forward to the pics.
  6. What model Fabia have you got?
  7. My Fab has never had this part fitted but it doesn't really bother me.
  8. It should push onto the terminal stud similar to shown here....
  9. I think it's part number 6N0 971 901 (cover for starter motor positive terminal). Item 24 here... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2004-225/9/971-971065/

  11. Why are you ignoring the faulty pre-cat lambda probe? When you get faults showing with the lambda heater, it's usually the probe itself rather than its wiring.
  12. Item 30 here... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2005-453/1/133-133025/
  13. Yeah, a pic of an engine from ebay (BBZ) shows it just hanging and looks like it's meant to be like that...
  14. Only other thing I can think of is the directional water valve on the pump playing up somehow.
  15. What was the original reason for changing the pump, was it doing the same thing? The pump motor changes direction when feeding the rear jet, so maybe it's a switching issue, i.e. the column stalk.
  16. I would suggest fixing the lambda probe and then see how it goes. Unfortunately I don't know the wire colours but someone else might. No problem
  17. Yes, it will never run properly if this isn't fixed. Your fault codes are only indicating a problem in one sensor. ''B1 S1'' (bank 1, sensor 1) is the lambda sensor before the catalyst. It may be a faulty sensor or wiring issue.
  18. The would need MacGuyvering. The Mk1 & 2 Fabia uses the PQ24 platform, so Mk2 seats bolt straight in but the Mk3 uses the PQ26 platform.
  19. Nice one, they are a good tool.
