  1. How about contacting this guy? He deals with briskoda....
  2. Yeah, I realised after I posted the link that the postage was a bit of a killer.
  3. Same here mate. Don't trust anyone to fix my car other than me.
  4. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/n90846501-screw-with-mushroom-head-skoda-14494.html
  5. Mine's a classic and it has electric windows and remote central locking. Just depends what options were chosen when new.
  6. It's a possibility. That's why I already suggested it back in January.
  7. Does it sound anything like this?....
  8. N80 evap purge solenoid valve is on the left. Wondering if it might be coming from that.
  9. Yep, they have the immobiliser built into them. Can't explain how that set worked for you.
  10. Hmmm, I don't understand that. The car shouldn't run. The immobiliser is definitely built into the cluster and coded to the car. Maybe the cluster you fitted had had an immobiliser delete or summat.
  11. Please be aware that you can't just swap in a used cluster as they contain the immobiliser circuitry. They have to be programmed to the car.
  12. Left-hand drive and Russian but might help?....
  13. You can get a full kit with pre-assembled springs and two wheel cylinders. The ones I got were TRW brand. They supply stuff to car makers. Kit number is GSK1512. Look on ebay. You also need the shoe glide pads as they are very often trashed. Part number 6N0 609 589 (twelve needed).
  14. You could try opening the cluster and removing and cleaning the edges of the elastomeric LCD zebra strips. These sometimes can give problems. Or it might be some other cluster fault such as a problem with either of the two trip button switches...
  15. The metal door panel is bolted up until about 2003, so on a 2001 car you won't need to bugger about with rivets if you buy a whole new panel with regulator pre-fitted, apart from swapping the speaker to the new panel as those are pop riveted (4 rivets). I used nuts and bolts for my speaker but if you want the rivets they are part number N90765701 (4.8x15). Some rivets here... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-NEW-VW-AUDI-SEAT-SKODA-DEALER-JOB-LOT-OF-POP-RIVETS-SPEAKER-DOOR-GLASS/114637736089?hash=item1ab0f10899:g:74YAAOSwCGhf~LOb
  16. Have a good look at the plastic servo vacuum pipe. They can crack at the bottom where it's hard to see.
  17. I used Victor Reinz on mine. Reinz gasket set number for 1.4, 8 valve MPI is 02-36205-01
  18. Item 18 here?..... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2002-225/8/819-819025/
  19. If you leave it a while before you remove the fuel feed pipe to the rail the pressure should have gone. If you want to be absolutely sure you can remove the fuel pump fuse (61) and start the engine until it stops. No need to prime once done, the pump will do that.
  20. First you have to remove the injector rail with all four injectors attached. Then they are just held to the rail with metal clips. Remove the clips and pull the injectors out of the rail.
