I think I'm going mad.
They can re value car prices offers if they drop drastically and it will be passed onto you. In about 12 months used car prices will be lower given that chips will be back in circulation and new cars flying out of the factory again. Unless things change drastically with our current price of living, people will stop changing cars as they will not be able to afford the higher payments (energy/fuel/grocery etc) That will pull down prices as dealers will have to in order to sell cars and make them affordable. I looked at changing mine but now I wouldnt given my mk3 VRS only costs me £161 for the payment and under £200 including tax and insurance. I would confirm with the dealer what would happen if the value of cars drop and get it in writing to cover yourself. Good luck with everything though and I hope it works out in your favour 👍

Tyre Pressures
As above they should be 2.7 bar for normal use which is about 39 psi. So your tyres are 10psi too low! The pressures are generally higher with lower profile tyres to help support the tyre wall and to try and prevent pot hole damage etc

Road noise
A lot of the road noise is through the boot floor. You can buy sound deadening foam and line the boot floor. Mine was already done when I got my car so I cannot comment on any differencr made. All I do know is that my car is vert quiet when cruising.

VRS TDI front brake pads
I use TRW and got them very cheaply from autodoc

Idle fluctuating after oil change
Either dipstick not put in fully or oil cap loosly put back on would be the most obvious culprits I can think of.

Accurate Tyre Pressure.
I use Halfords digital guage and has worked fine so far.

Battery Options
When you get it recoded you can change it to EFB from Fleece.

VRS Turbo / Actuator / EPC light problem
If the turbo is not working correctly you will not get full power and run into compression issues and poor mixture/combustion. That can lead to other issues such as extra fuel being sent down the exhaust and kill the cat convertor etc I would try the getting the actuator fitted and is probably something you could fit yourself as they arent difficult to do. You might need someone to adapt it for you but there is a huge list of vcds owners who help out.

Upgraded rear anti roll bar

Start Stop not working
The garage has a responsibility under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 despite what excuse they say it is not covered under the RAC warranty. It is law and your car has a 6 month warranty to cover any fault that happens. Except things like puncture etc. Garages and dealers know about this but do not like the consumer knowing as it costs them money. If they dont play ball I would just quote the act and Citizens Advice. Normally gets them motivated 👍

Upgraded rear anti roll bar
No the VRS has a smaller one as standard. It is not as big as others but it is a lot cheaper and a good oem upgrade.

Heater warm but not hot
If you purchased from a Garage I would make them aware and let them fix it. You are covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for 6 months from date of purchase despite whatever warranty the garage stated. If they cannot fix it within a month you can reject the car but they must have had one opportunity to fix it.

Octavia Vrs 64 plate should I buy ?
For me I would check the service history including timing belt and water pump. If DSG ensure it has been serviced every 40,000 miles. If it is a DSG I would haggle a service in or price reduction given it would be due in 3000 miles. Make sure the heater works both sides. If not it might be the silicone bag split issue. Plenty of threads on here about that. I would seek to remove and refit an expansion tank that does not have a silicome bag in. If you have OBDeleven etc I would check the level of DPF ash. Much more than that check panel alignment, overspray marks and any changes in colour etc.

Eibach prokit, not lowering as i thought
Either Eibach Sport line or H&R. Dont forget to get a wheel alignment and headlight level reset done afterwards. I am fitting the pro kit to my car when the weather improves along with B4s and the Clubsport Rear Anti roll bar. For me I dont want too much of a drop as I still want to be able to use it and not worry about car park ramps, speed humps etc. To me your car sits well.

Octavia LED Tail Lights
I did used to like the FL tail lights then I changed my mind and actually prefer the PFL ones already fitted. I think if you did want to change them it is a bit mote than just plug and play and have diferent connectors.

VRS Purchase
Had my diesel now for over 2 years now. Every engine makes funny noises. Take the TSI for example, sounds more like a diesel with the direct injection noise than a diesel does. I opted for diesel because I do quite a bit of commuting to see family 150 miles away. My normal drive to work is 6 miles each way and having done that since I got the car has not massively impacted on the dpf or how it operates. Mine is mapped and DSG. It certainly shifts when pressing on but also gets 55 - 60mpgs on the motorway. It does use a bit of oil but I keep a carton of oil in the boot. My old MK2 TFSI used oil and that was petrol. I would take each one for a drive and see which you prefer.

Front assist grille trim
You can recalibrate the radar using OBDeleven. You reset it and just drive for about 10 miles of mixed motorway and town.
-
Skoda Octavia VRS Challenge suspension
Tyre pressure should be 2.7bar for 19s.

Eibachs harsh?
Generally the Eibach Pro kit is deemed by most a better ride than the standard springs.

P256300/P00AF00/U041600 Fault Codes
I would try an adaption on the turbocharger to see if it resets itself. You can run live data aswell to see if it is the turbocharger or something else. Usually it is ideal to take it to a specialist who has a rolling road and can recreate driving types and try to replicate the fault safely.

Upgraded rear anti roll bar
Just a heads up. If anyone is in the market for an upgrade on their rear anti roll bar. Darkside have genuine VW Golf Clubsport ones for £84, including the bushes and brackets. They have a limited number at that price and yes I did make a purchase 👍

Oil temperature and DPF
The answer is no as it will regen every 270 miles approx whether you have reached the limit for ash or not. The regens and limits are to keep the dpf working and it is best left alone to do its thing. It is a very clever system and will sort itself out
