  1. https://www.autoparts-24.com/item/D_0023_990683/ Skoda FELICIA (6U1) ABS pump 422 euro 😲
  2. The whole system plus the mechanic's labour work for remove it-install to another car would cost around ?
  3. The TC-6 worthed the extra cost, very helpful but as for the 1st generation ABS i am not convinced that worth to install it. Too much cost and effort.
  4. First generation ABS problems: First-generation ABS problems often stem from aging components like faulty wheel speed sensors, damaged sensor wires (from road debris), worn wheel bearings/tone rings, or issues with the electronic control module (ECU/EBCM) or pump, leading to the ABS/Traction Control lights illuminating, incorrect speed readings, or brake lock-up/pulsation during hard braking. These systems rely on precise wheel speed data, so any disruption from corrosion, physical damage, or wear triggers failures, often manifesting as the dashboard warning lights
  5. I agree that's why in Highways were the speed is 80-100 Km i am very cautious and i keep a bigger distance from the leading vehicle. Plus with the great fear of aquaplaning while it rains i don't dare to make an overtake like this idiot: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR44oKJkalJ/
  6. When i bought my Felicia the seller offered a package for 700 euro, was ABS plus airbags but i didn't had the money for this. Although the 1st ABS generation had some ''issues'' in speeds below 30 km, i admit than in rain (National Highway) i would feel more ''secure'' if i had it. I have locked my brakes in emergency situations 3 times, was not a pleasure experience.
  7. A Felicia with different suspension, different tyres, different brake pads-disks-fluid will bring different results. Speed was? I mean this was a 60km-0?
  8. Here is the right main light, thankfully it's OK except the plastic part below. As for the W5W bulb:
  9. I found the culprit, the b@st@rd has a taxi like wreckage and does not care if he hits-scratches other cars. Scratches all over plus has a broken light, he parked illegally his taxi inside a square !
  10. The plastic cover beneath it isn't in proper position (as the other in the right side). The bumper in his left side (as you look the photo) is moving a bit due to a parking ''hit and run'', the right side has scrtaches for the same reason. I will make a try go for a paint job together with the fender (driver's side). https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2025_09/NX-(1).jpg.3d8c48c115c2a1140e8ea10d94d2c892.jpg https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2025_03/-.jpg.08c7608f834b9ca2c9c7fd3ebb06c0f7.jpg https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2025_03/IMG_20250319_074130.jpg.f32b896e5220d8d3d2dbead9be2a9cc2.jpg
  11. In English are called ''parking lights'',here in Greece we call them ''position lights". We turn them On when the sun starts goes down or at dawn when there is no need for strong light. One was burned and the other turned to ''yellowish'' (was ''Ice cool when it was new). I realise it when i saw my car in a reflection of a store-front,in GR cars with one light only On are called for fun as ''One eye pirate". A replacement set was ordered, W5W in 6000K,i didn't want yellow at 3000K.
  12. Here is how you can do the test. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/511704-glitters-inside-my-coolant-expansion-tank/page/7/
  13. I am adifferent man, i have different style and my Felicia is modified. I have made some upgrades in brakes, i have no ABS and i am careful because i would have a ''lock'' in hard emergensive braking. The tyres are not ''squeeking'' when i push them in turns like Michelin, they are not so Sport as Bridgestone (which were ''woods'' in City and i want worst Mpg), they can do everything ''good'' like ''Golden ratio''. If you want something soft for City and cool driving go for Michelin. Yokohama and Continental have the worst grade in Mpg.
  14. I have use 10 tyres from that brand in 175/60/14, i have drove in wet-dry-light ice, night and day, normal or sport style, National Highway or Mountain Routes (City traffic does not counts). It's far best than Bridgestone-Michelin-Matador in this dimension.
  15. Contact cleaner (no oil) will do nothing more than good in relays, switches, contacts etc.
  16. ΤΟΥΟ 175/60 R14 79H Proxes CF2 TL
  17. Kayaba shock absorber, tested and approved. 175/60/14, tested and approved. 30 psi front (at least 28) and 28 psi rear, tested and approved. No time for experiments, improvisations etc.
  18. Porsche 993 turbo (1993-1998) had a key with a small light on it,far more bright than Felicia's one.
  19. I wonder if a technician in a upholstery-shop can make a modifications to our factory head rests and make them with more inclination like this: I have sat in 2 buckets seats (actually chairs) and i realise that there was a big gap between the back of my head and the head rest Almost 4-5 fingers and i found this very dangerous, yes i know this gap is for helmet (racing) but if an every day driver uses it with standard seat belts then the bouncing back would be fatal.
  20. Fiat Cinquecento if i remember correct had 27% back then. 2019: Zero (0) stars for an electric Chinese car Jac ES-1
  21. So we must replace them with another material? metal perhaps? If so what about friction-lubrication issues with the rail?
  22. Update: Last night i checked the expansion tank, YES there are still some detritus inside (look like glitters but not so ''shiny"), look like this https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2025_01/G.jpg.cdc538aa212b57de31ef57585041fbcb.jpg and i saw that the antifreeze level was ''one click'' lower and i added about 200ml distilled water. I saw no leaks and i think the culprit is the VIKA expansion tank (bolts) since the cap is better quality.
