I have seen many US videos of modifying the frame, here in GR we call that procedure as "tailoring" but there is no guarantee that it will work properly because you rely on the technicians experience, if something goes wrong the ''fixing'' it's expensive and it will take time. Sometimes the technicians take that uncertainty as an excuse for extra charge: ''Hm i don't know if it will works, let's see, i will try, i will see what i can do, it will take time since i am busy" etc. Back in the good-old days there were aftermarket armrests for the Felicia seats, i bought and installed one, the only drawback was while putting the Reverse in City traffic in a hurry (parking) so i remove it. Good for the National Highway though.

These are seats from an Octavia model which fit in a Felicia? Their base frame will fit in Felicia's chassis holes?

The Felicia seat is not good for long trips and Sport driving so about 20 years ago i removed gently a piece of factory foam from the lower part of the centre panel making my back ''tucked in'' a bit more, i added a layer on the head rest so in emergency braking my head will stopped sooner (reducing the gap) and last year i added a set of pad in the seat cushion so my knees are not in a so ''slippery'' situation as before, never regret for those e modifications.

I have aftermarket, work perfect. The kt fits with no modifications. A piece of thick nylon can do the job, use strong double-side adhesive tape, check the drain holes to be full open. Here was the old (driver's side) Diagram

You mean a product that ''will take care'' the rubber? It's extremely difficult to find new seals. Any thoughts?

I check it today, suddenly the car is moving left-right like a boat in the waves (first hit) and after few minutes again (second hit) and then the video stops. In the next video shows front and right a taxi parked,today i saw the scratches on my car (back fender and the protective plastic arch) both are in yellow colour which is the colour of the taxi here. Scenario: The scumbag hit me, the alarm sounded and then put reverse,the driver came out check the damages and return to the taxi, he pass more carefully this time and parked front and right of my like ''nothing happened''. No witness so i can not prove anything.

Ι have seen it in a video, the same can occur in Felicia which has a cheap plastic cover (like a curtain) anf often this leaks and brinkg rain drops inside the floor mats. The drainage paths are open,i have personally check them and the water runs flawesly but i wander the amount of water in the top of the U seal is from the door holes or not? are slipping from the door panel plastic cover?

Gentlemen, i wonder if that is a door seal problem. Water from rain is collected inside the seal groove (front part), thankfully does not go inside the floor mat but there is no quarantee that will happen next time in a heavier rain. No water in the rest of the seal (rear part) ,is this a seal problem or not? That water comes from the rain-drop holes of the door or comes from the top of the pillar? Here in GR we call them ''sink" (they drive the water from the top of the wind shield down). I have changed one year ago the plastic cover inside the door panel.

BAD news, last night another ''Hit and run'' incident, someone hit me in the same spot that i had already have been hit few months ago. As you can see there is a rust spot from previous hit, i was parked in different area but they hit me in the same spot, thankfully the plastic trim stayed in place. The driver's door does not open properly. 😠

I have applied the 3rd solution in all of my belts and still fit in the lock buckle, the cover is very thin, no problem with the lock tongue. There are Belt Holders in the market to keep in place.

The main reason that i wanted a Flip key (and a Keyless entry) is that i hate the ''jingling'' noise. I have the main key, the alarm control, 2 keys for the steering wheel-gear lever anti-thief lock na done for the gas tank cap (the old cap had a lock damage and i had to replace the cap). I potholes-road bumps or in left-right suddenly turns the ''jing-jing'' noise drives my crazy.

Τhe same with electronic hand-brake in sports cars, the manufactures supposed saved some money but instead caused to the users (drivers) too many problems which cost a lot of money (repairs).

Every time you come down to the National Highway no matter the car you know that there is a risk. Even guys with Maserati,Porsche,Mercedes,BMW,Audi,ferrari have been in huge problems (even envolved in death accidents) here in GR with speed like yours. Still i would love to have a flip key and have my trunk raise as @R_U_AFA had done (still waiting for the video), would give me ''joy'' in my Auto Life.
