  1. In rain or wind no need to get out of the car now, behind me maybe a motorcycle parked and since the spaces here are very "tight" i can go back (reverse) without fear. In my mirror-camera Topic i have posted relative photos (night and day), even with mirror's help and windscreen wiper functional i can not do what i do in City with my 180 degrees camera. No sound sensors, i hate their repeated sound.
  2. Many cars have no rear windscreen wiper due to vandalism, some as you know don't have from the factory (sedan). The cost for the sue is 100 euros, keep in mind that i am working (no time for waisting) and i have a family to take care, you don't. New item does not solve the "vandalism by investors" problem and the VIKA isn't a guarantee brand for motor.
  3. In my Felicia the 1st radiator fan scale starts one click above 90 'C, even in City Traffic the 1st scale does the job and the needle never goes more than 95 ' C (synthetic engine oil, coolant change every 2 years, thermostat new, thermoswitch 80-85).
  4. No way, i have face it in the past and made some agjustments to prevent this. I never said that i disagree with that.
  5. @Thefeliciahacker said: "the first speed will kick on at 95C" If the 1st opens at 95 'C then the second when it opens? At 100 'C ?
  6. I didn't found it broken, i had to call the insurance agent to see it (delay) plus since i start removing bolts etc the whole procedure was cancelled. That was my electrician said, thus you save money from new motor, no need to buy a 3rd blade, plus the kids won't find any more anything there to bend. We don't have rain often here and very rare i used the rear windscreen wiper plus i wasn't satisfied because many times i had to clear with paper-towel the corners of the windscreen to see clear. Parking with reverse could be a big issue but i have the rear camera and i can see 180 degrees.
  7. I removed the 5th door panel, hear as it was. An attempt to temporary fix with JB Weld glue failed, the thread was almost damaged and nothing could be done plus as you can se in the bottom of the axis a part from the shell it broke. So bye-bye rear windshield wiper motor.
  8. https://th-pettersson.com/cgi-bin/ibutik/AIR_ibutik.fcgi?funk=visa_artikel&artnr=116-2009-29822-1 £211 https://www.larkspeed.com/hr-lowering-springs-1355184/?aditem=1355184 £209.00 https://inter-rally.pl/product-eng-32563-H-R-Lowering-springs-Skoda-Favorit.html 256,19 € The Koni you can rebuild them with original parts and 1 year warranty. @Thefeliciahacker another one like with me with Lowering Springs, we are growing in numbers ! 😁
  9. @R_U_AFA That's for Felicia 1.3 rear https://www.megaparts.eu/en/product/1413740078 but as Used the price is high althouth in this one https://www.b-parts.com/auto-parts/electrical-and-electronic/rear-wiper-motor-skoda-felicia-ii-6u1-13-097858043-097858043-1998-1999-2000-2001-7179873 is outrageous. I can find in the local marker Used for 30 euros (or the VIKA as New) although it's a risk because i don't know how much use it has in the past. Mine except the thread must have a problem with the plastic gears (teflon maybe) so i don't think worth or can anybody will take the responsibility to repair it. Rain in my place is rare and very rare i have used that windshield wiper.
  10. With that Sparco sport steering wheel you just hurt the @Thefeliciahacker heart.
  11. Koni Street (orange) but also Bilstein (black) Sachs can do the task.
  12. Yes i know that he can make in lathe machine a new thread and weld it. That's the Forum for, people help each other, sharing experiences and talk for solutions, giving opinions etc. Now that the damage happened i waver if worth to fix-replace it or be like a sedan which have no rear windshield wiper.
  13. I have tools in my car's trunk, the @Thefeliciahacker has not and does work with his bear hands. I have removed the motor, does not work properly but even if he was the thread is out and in used spare parts store they sell it as "all together" so the axis goes with the motor as "package". I will post photos of the motor when i return home.
  14. The MOT does not care so much for such things, if they ask you you can give an answer (''they broke it last night, i will fix it" and that's it, in the final report won't write an observation. I am on it but i am not optimist because the thread is gone. @Thefeliciahacker No gypsies had nothing to do with this, didn't steal it, it's was a bit of normal wear but the main responsible are the ''investors" which hanging around all night with alcohol-drugs (the suckers pay their allowances) and do damages in cars (mirrors-scratches-tyres-wind shield wipers etc) just for fun or from hate to the locals. @mikefelicia My electrician said to leave it as is (of course i will cover the hole with a plug) because he had the same issue in his car (Renault Megane i think) and does not worth the cost to put new motor. I don't know, after almost 24 years it's hard for me to parting ways from this item although now with my mirror-camera didn't needed it so much.
  15. The remains. There is nothing left to hold the axis so it drops to the right side, useless. I don't think that i can do anything even with epoxy glue for metal components. ☹️
  16. No, everything looked normal (although many times in the morning i have seen it rised) but when i pressed the lever did half move and next time 1/3 of the move and then stopped. The weird is that when i removed the windscreen blade and put a tie wrap to see if the axis could move compleately then it did, from left to right but after further inspection saw that the thread was in his ''last time". Could not ''carry the weight" of the windscreen blade any more so i think it's the rotor too, 2 failures in 1 damage.
  17. Due to multiple vandalism from young people in after midnight hours (those which don't go to school next morning), add a 24 years use and my Felicia has no more a wind shield wiper, the thread it's broken. Normally looks like this: Few days ago i saw that it could move properly and after i checked the bolt i found this: I will open the 5th door cover for inspection of the motor and the bracket but i am not optimist that i can fix it.
  18. Yes, a plastic tank used instead of an Oil Catch can. I wonder what is the budget of @Camera for this project? How much can he spend?
  19. Skoda Favorit Turbo 130 PS There are guys which took it to 160 or even 200 PS. Watch the green garden hose. 😁
  20. @Camera Have you ever thought about engine swap with a more powerful motor?
  21. @nta16 This (small village) road here in Greece is characterized as ''abandoned" from us, the white lines have been erased (from weather conditions, age, no maintenance), has not potholes but you can not drive fast except if you are a local guy. The visitor must be careful and drive slowly although is enough space for 2 cars. Even me that i know this road don't drive ''sport'' style, yes one click faster than a visitor but of course this road is not for testing tyres-suspension etc.
  22. Oh..so you are saying: first you make a custom exhaust, then you work with the engine and then with carburettor or ECU and the air intake?
