  1. Yes, this is the USB below the A/C controls. From your post I can see Bolero 5Q0035842x (x - any letter A, B or C) or 565035842 is enough, the question is on the display (both 6.5" and 8" have the same resolution 800x480 pixels). I can prepare such unit in Plug &Play version if required.
  2. So now you have Bolero MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, part number 5E0035842, with USB 5Q0035726B and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You also need to replace display unit: - for MIB2 Bolero you can use either 6.5" model number 5E0919605H or 8" model number 5E0919605N - for MIB2 Amundsen and MIB2 Columbus you can use listed above display as well as 6.5" model number 5E0919605J, 8" model number 5E0919606, 8" model number 5E0919605M - for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you would like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  3. Indeed, same model year (MY16) and color (Lava Blue) :) You had Amundsen part number 5L0 035 680 B. I will send you PM with detailed offer.
  4. No worries, we can start here :) First of all, you have a lovely car - I had Yeti too, 2016, and I beleive it was the same colour (Lava Blue). I'm really sorry for your loss. I can see he was not in rush - I can even say he was quite nice as he didn't cut the cables... I can't even count in how many cars I had to repair cables that have been cut... It seems to me you had Amundsen without DAB. If you share your VIN then I can check details and prepare a detailed offer for you.
  5. I sent you both link for update to MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_8755, I hope it helps.
  6. I need full VIN if you want me to check detailed part number
  7. Link sent in PM. 1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  8. Pls post the picture of a label from upper case.
  9. Find adaptations with words "Google" and "Apple" (but without word "wireless") and turn them ON: ENG109862-ENG130249-Vehicle_configuration-Apple_DIO ENG109862-ENG130248-Vehicle_configuration-Google_GAL
  10. You are probably right. It seems like a typical problem with dry joints in Power PIC - it must be resoldered.
  11. @Balazs yes, you will get color grid menu. All check your PMs for dwonload links. Just a reminder: 1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  12. Yes, that's the very first question - part number and SW version of your current unit.
  13. You need to replace display unit, add infotainment reader (glove box unit) and extra harness to connect them both. USB migh also required exchange - pls share VIN so I can check details
  14. Looks that your EMMC is faulty - it mnisses some files, probably due to faulty sectors, and I guess this was the root cause of your probelms. If I am right then unit can be repaired either via manual formatting of EMMC or, if this doesn't help, exchange of EMMC chip. What is your location?
  15. Yes, you can, but in every case unit requires patching of swdownload first - if you have AMundsen then you can do it from SD card with MIB STD2 Toolbox, if you have Bolero then unfortunately glove box unit must be disassembled and soldered. Nope, you are already on the latest firmware available.
  16. Nope, you are already on the latest firmware available.
  17. Nope, you are already on the latest firmware available. It is capable of SmartLink and you can do it by yourself with MIB STD2 Toolbox.
