  1. 6V0919604 as expected. Replacement is piece of cake, all you need is 4 pieces of removal keys.
  2. I beleive the display unit is faulty and needs replacement. They ar enot expensive and are not covered iwth Component Protection. I beleive the part number is 6V0919604 but pls share your VIN so I can check in parts catalogue.
  3. Once again for all those who don't know how to use "Search" 1. format SD (if possible 8, 16 or 32GB) under FAT32. 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  4. Yes, you are on the latest firmware.
  5. It depends on HW version. For C3 up to C10 best is 5238. For C12 it's 5274 and for C14 - 6276.
  6. Link for SW download sent on PM. Unfortunately for maps you have to search yourself 😞
  7. Just google, it has been described multiple times...
  8. If you have unit with OEM sat nav - yes, and it can be done from SD without necesiity to open and solder the unit.
  9. If you are interested in MIB STD2 PQ unit pls contact me on PM.
  10. I sent you download link on PM.
  11. I sent you link on PM. What woul dyou like to get with SW update?
  12. It's possible but the unit must be patched first which in this case means it has to be open and soldered.
  13. MIB STD2 PQ are original VAG products, they were installed in FL SKODA YETI (from MY15).
  14. I beleive cheapest option is to have it repaired. If you want a replacement unit, modern one, I recommend MIB STD2 PQ unit.
  15. Visit your SKODA dealer, I don;t know anyone who can patch these units
  16. Nope, usually it's not an issue of LCD but both radio board (HW problem, dry joints in power circuit) and mainboard (SW).
  17. THis is usually result of combination of both HW and SW problem. What is your location?
  18. Yes, but it can't be patched via SD, it requires unit to be open and soldered in order to change some files in EMMC. Nope, you need 3Q0035466A or 81A035223. I have one, if you are interested pls contact me on PM with your offer. Yes, it's the same
  19. Yes, but 5Q0035864C has no DAB/DAB+ receiver, to keep DAB you need 5Q0035874C or 565035864. Yes, it can run CarPlay if new unit is patched (hacked). You also need to replace USB with 5Q0035726E or 5Q0035726J. You will have to change CANTON sound amplifier and remove Component Protection from new amplifier by SKODA dealer or someone having ODIS ONLINE account for SKODA.
  20. @Alshut this seems to be a typical error of faulty EMMC. I can try to repair it if you deliver it to me to Poland, if this is what I suspect then cost of repair is 120 GBP plus shipping, if the unit is BER (Beyond Economical Repair) then I can find a replacement unit for you. Pls contact me on PM if you are interested.
  21. Fully digital. Only OEM sat nav, no Android Auto / Apple Carplay in instruments cluster
  22. So now you have Columbus MIB1, with Bluetooth, with DAB, without SIM, part number 5E0035020C, with USB 5Q0035726C and unfortunately you have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You don't need to replace display unit unless you want to go with Columbus MIB2.5 as for MIB2.5 Columbus the only display unit that works is 5E0919606D If you woulkd like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. Unfortunately you have to replace also CANTON power amplifier. New amplifier must be coded online by Skoda dealer or someone with ODIS ONLINE account for Skoda. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  23. @hauserjoci pls share your VIN so I can check details and prepare options for you.
