  1. Sorry for not answering earlier... Pls be so kind in the future to use @pab567 tag to draw my attention. All check your PMs. Happy New Year
  2. Not possible. HDD stores only music files, navigation maps and POI - none part of operating system is stored there. You must have your drive replaced. You ca ntry to use CD-R insted of DVD for updating.
  3. Last one is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T. All check your PM.
  4. This is not MIB2, this is MIB1 Columbus. Any particular reasons for requesting an update?
  5. Model number and SW version of your unit?
  6. Nope - I only deal with MIB2 units and yours is MIB3. Sorry...
  7. Yes. But to fit it in your car you also need extra harness. If you want want to use SmartLink then unit must be hacked too.
  8. No, maps for Amundsen are different to Columbus ones. You can find latest maps at Volkswagen Maps & Software Update website - for Amundsen maps pls select Beetle then Discover Media and then download file for required region. No VIN is needed
  9. @bmbmdmb pls be so kind to remove link from your message. there is some intention why I am not publishing links in threads but sending them via PM. Thx for your understadning.
  10. @Txdriver - use any SD card, not USB pendrive @golf2 - don't be lazy, you can download maps from official Skoda Update portal, just google to find it SW download link sent by PM @sree_hari82 - what you have is the most recent SW I know for your unit
  11. Just use search, it has been described few times...
  12. Yes, you can. I sent you download link via PM.
  13. Use Skoda Update Portal to check if maps are available for you. Everyone check your PMs for SW download links
  14. Yes but you need to add external modules to it which IMHO doesn't make any sense. I rather recommend to replace it with MIB STD2 PQ unit. If you are interested pls contact me on PM. -
  15. For less than half of it you can have Amundsen MIB2 with 6.5" screen, with SmartLink activated
  16. Looks like model number of MIB1 Amundsen screen
  17. No clue, I don;t work with these units. @nosalismus any CVBS NTSC camera will work, including the cheap ones (15-20 GBP) from aliexpress
  18. Nothing is impossible... pls let us know model number and SW version of your current system, you can check it in menu SETUP then SYSTEM INFORMATION
  19. Unfortunately 5Q0035819 does not support rear view cameras - it doesn't have video chip. You either have to use special external adapter or replace infotainment unit with Bolero 5Q0035840x (non-DAB) or Bolero 5Q0035842x (DAB) or Amundsen 5Q0035864x (non-DAB) or 5Q0035874x (DAB). x means letter (A/B/C). There are also Bolerow without letter at the end but I do not recommend them as they don't support SmartLink but only MirrorLink.
  20. This is British forum so you shoul duse English, no Polish (even if both of us are Poles ) Model number (e.e. 5Q0035819) and Software version (e.g. 0137) of your Bolero?
  21. So you either have to contact Skoda dealer to have it activated or have the unit hacked - contact me on PM if you are interested.
  22. No, firmware upgrade is not required to use latest maps. BTW: there is a newer maps version available here. You should have SmartLink in touch screen menu - what happens when want to enter it?
