  1. Ok, I thought he misunderstood my question.
  2. Ok, I thought they all had s/s. i guess that would add to your problem . I don't have the problem of the clutch disengaging. I use s/s all the time. I do agree it's sometimes difficult to control the speed when reversing uphill into a parking space. I resort to a two pedal operation in that situation.
  3. Started the car today after 3.5 months. Original battery made in Jan 2013. Really unexpected, hence my vocal "oh no" VID20250224141307 (1) (1) (1) (1) (1).mp4
  4. No, that wasn't my question. OP wants to reduce the brightness, Is there a minimum brightness by law?
  5. Is there a minimum brightness by law?
  6. Are using a Mac or PC? A Mac can add other files which have to removed according to some posters on this topic.
  7. That's interesting to know. Mine was bought as an ex demo at 6 months old from a Skoda dealer and came with a Varta battery which is still fitted. Would it have been changed within the 1st 6 months?
  8. Has s/s ever worked since you bought the car?
  9. When the battery is disconnected, what's the voltage then?

  11. There are quite a few threads on the Haldex with different problems. Until you get yours connected you won't know what if any faults there maybe.
  12. Can you get it scanned for fault codes?
  13. I'm sure you would have got a low level warning light.
  14. Do you have normal hot air or just lukewarm?
  15. Could be dirty contacts. Maybe worth taking the stalk off and checking.
  16. Have they scanned for fault codes to see why the engine check light is coming on? Is this light also called an EML?
  17. For me with a DSG, eco & D have the same shifting characteristics but in sports mode it holds onto the gears far too long for my liking
  18. Can you get it scanned for codes?
  19. Interesting to know.
  20. No it's not and as far as I know there is no option to turn the clock display on or off.
  21. Exactly what I've done. In eco coasting mode you are using fuel as it basically shifts into neutral but the engine is still running at idle speed. In D you get the benefit of engine braking and no fuel is being used.
