If any serving/work was done outside of Skoda there will be no record of it on Skoda as no one else has access to the system. Any Skoda dealership will happily print it off for you. I would be checking the battery voltage. As this can be the cause of this issue. Along with the drivers door module.

Possible that the paddle has snapped and it's just spinning?
