  1. For MOT purposes, you can disconnect it and it should pass (although I would confirm with the local tester). As for the MK2, I think it's a complete unit? Unlike the MK1 it uses replacement bulbs. Have you tried Facebook/eBay for someone breaking a MK2? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=mk2+octavia+high+level+brake+light&_sacat=0
  2. They're not the same @Robbsey - What issues do you have?
  3. And back on topic we go! It was nice to see some sort of original car. Props to him swapping over the engine, though!
  4. That's weird. I was looking up his channel yesterday and thinking I would contact him to review my standard but well equipped vRS....
  5. English only please
  6. I was keeping this for spares, but I don't have the space. The engine will have the turbo, thermostat (housing) and speed sensor removed, other than that I think it's complete with all pipework. I can supply paperwork to show its estimate mileage, which was around 156k. It was serviced every 10k as the car ended up being my work horse. The car has since been scrapped and the engine is the only thing left from it. Will supply pictures next week. £100 - Which is think is fair. Collection only please (Suffolk).

  8. Taken from my L&K. I need to make space so, these are up for sale. No rips or tears, just marks from being stored in the garage. Front Seats Rear Seats The set is complete, I just don’t have pictures at the moment of the bottom rear seats. £100
  9. Thanks again all. I've added some more, and I've been contacted recently so, added 4 that were missing!
  10. Sorry for late reply, did you manage to sort this out?
  11. English from this point on please. Thank you.
  12. Do you still have the original to test?
  13. Just make sure that was an OEM replacement. 3rd party ones can be a hit or miss with them working. Is it genuine?
  14. Did they work before? This is a setting in the comfort module which is accessed via software like RossTech (VCDS).
  15. He was asking about the sunroof. To which can be removed after the head liner is removed.
  16. There are covers, pop them off and there are screws underneath.
  17. You guys got the MK4 Golf over there with the same engine, I believe? So, you should have a few choices. Any of the SMF setups should be fine as long as they have a good lbft rating, you want over 250 for anything mapped, stage 2 mapped you want 300lbft to keep it safe from slipping.
  18. Come across another, in a sorry state. Asking a little too much in my eyes. Needs a fair bit doing to it. But, it's well spec'd for the people (like me) who want or, are looking for a highly spec'd version to keep. I just don't have the time to do it. Stereo is stuck on safe mode and I don't have the unlock code for it so will need replacing. I do have the keys to remove the stereo.
  19. Just pick up a 1.8T 4x4 and convert it to a vRS. There's a couple on FB now. Also, I've seen a Red one for sale the other day. Wooooo
  20. You could speak to Bowders who has/sells remapped ECU's. They come demobilised too.
  21. You absolute madman... Don't regret this. If anything, keep it and store it if you can. So many are being broken now for spares, there won't be many left! P.S. I want your rear bumper!
  22. I'll be catching up over the weekend if I can. Thanks to everyone so far.
