  1. No for sales threads unless you're a FREEDOM (paid member). I'll leave this message here.
  2. A lot of people remove this as part of the simplified delete. @Bowders1 does this as a service too should you wish to have it removed. However, I'm sure you can pick up a spare or a pattern part. Plenty of vRS's being broken at the minute.
  3. Any bolt will do, if you measure the opposite side, try and to find a spare one.
  4. This car is still up for sale...?
  5. Hi Ashley, The car was on facebook, your best bet is to keep a look out in the groups for a vrs estate being broken. However, most have the same issue... So it might be better to get yours repaired.
  6. You could, but the problem you find is that they are a 1 piece system. OEM are very hard to get hold of and I doubt you'll find any at the factories now. I would look into have a fully custom built one. If you can find a second hand that would be even better. If you have Milltek or Piper in Sweden, they are bolt on systems.
  7. I'd start by looking at the wiring and checking for continuity.
  8. Like any car, if serviced regularly if can go on and on and on. Many now I've seen are over 200k. But, you can have some under 100k with the engine gone. It's just a risk at these ages now. The best you can do is find an unmolested one with service history, stay away from the lowered or modified ones if you can.
  9. Haven'r a clue sorry. Keep a look out for for second hand units on ebay and facebook as they do pop up every now and then.
  10. Saw this on FB for sale. Looked like a decent base to build upon. Good luck!
  11. I think 18" will unbalance the ride personally, as it will certainly make it harsher.
  12. I'll probably be giving this a go soon!
  13. I have a THS twin pass setup on my black VRS. A few others also run them because of the fitment. I didn’t want to see the piping or anything that would give it away as an intercooler is installed.
  14. Correct. The Octavia vRS looks best with the 17" Spiders wheels.
  15. Sorry guys, it hides some icons on smaller screens/devices. I'll get it enabled.
  16. For MOT purposes, you can disconnect it and it should pass (although I would confirm with the local tester). As for the MK2, I think it's a complete unit? Unlike the MK1 it uses replacement bulbs. Have you tried Facebook/eBay for someone breaking a MK2? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=mk2+octavia+high+level+brake+light&_sacat=0
  17. They're not the same @Robbsey - What issues do you have?
  18. And back on topic we go! It was nice to see some sort of original car. Props to him swapping over the engine, though!
  19. That's weird. I was looking up his channel yesterday and thinking I would contact him to review my standard but well equipped vRS....
  20. English only please
  21. I was keeping this for spares, but I don't have the space. The engine will have the turbo, thermostat (housing) and speed sensor removed, other than that I think it's complete with all pipework. I can supply paperwork to show its estimate mileage, which was around 156k. It was serviced every 10k as the car ended up being my work horse. The car has since been scrapped and the engine is the only thing left from it. Will supply pictures next week. £100 - Which is think is fair. Collection only please (Suffolk).
  22. https://www.facebook.com/groups/676070365872638?multi_permalinks=3479881272158186&hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen 619 Seats for sale. I'm sure Skoda can tell you if you supply all the details with your V5.
