Starting issue
Try turning ignition on and leaving it a short while before actually trying to start. Had a similar issue with a petrol car and that worked, would start right away but like you would just crank before firing if you tried right away. Turned out to be the fuel pump in the end Worth ago but not really sure how the diesel system works

Wet carpet
Most likely come unbounded like mine, you can see the smooth parts on pics I posted other day when the screen was removed along the top. I put a fan heater in the car to dry it out Good you’ve found the cause of the leak

Wet carpet
Remove the A pillar trims, if it wasn’t for a little bit of water on dash I’d have never thought it was the windscreen

Wet carpet
My issue was windscreen the water was actually running behind the A pillar trim and down through dash into foot well. you could actually push the screen up from inside

Level sensor on passenger side back wish bone Also one on front passenger side wish bone. unsure what the one on front does but the one at rear is for adjusting light heights which sounds it could be the cause- No bend lighting problem
I kept getting this message from time to time, but when checking lights all was ok. The bulb eventually blew and since it got a new one fitted I never got the warning again. It was the actual the Driving Lamp bulb that lights up when turning and not the main headlamps that do the dance at start up Hope that helps- Egr valve vacuum solenoid
- Egr valve vacuum solenoid
If you follow the vacuum line from the egr valve it comes to a small solenoid in the engine compartment. I changed that but didn’t make any difference. Mine used to fault and go in limp mode with coil light flashing, then be ok for ages. It then got more and more regular and started putting the engine management light on.- Egr valve vacuum solenoid
I tried all sorts but ended up biting the bullet and replaced the egr valve/unit. mine had done about the same milage, I took mine apart afterwards for a look and it was nowhere near as bad as I seen some on YouTube. It fixed the fault so something must have been wrong. The effort to take it off, there was no way I was chancing cleaning it and putting it back on to try- Front Springs
So that could be his cause of his headlights been wrong then if it became disconnected.- Front Springs
Mines got a sensor on front passenger side it’s like a levelling switch with connecting rod on it’s maybe became disconnected when they’ve change the springs. no idea what it’s for- Towbar fitting - avoiding issues
Camera be handy for hitching caravan on Normally tell wife to get in the car and back up to the caravan. Its so much easier then her telling me 😆- Towbar fitting - avoiding issues
Am going back to 2015 when I got mine fitted was around £560 if I can remember right it’s a good job, you wouldn’t know car had a tow bar fitted when it’s removed, socket folds up out of the way. All wired correctly and coded or what ever they do. When you put it in reverse, picture of a trailer comes on screen to remind you that the caravans on 🙄 not sure how you’d forget though 😆- Opening mirrors on driving off automatically when speed reached
I’ve had the mirrors folded in with the engine running but that was waiting in a queue with cars driving past to close for my liking. I used the switch the mirrors normally unfold when starting the car or knocking ignition on. Mine is the elegance model- Towbar fitting - avoiding issues
North West tow bars fitted mine, Westfalia detachable You wouldn’t know it had a tow bar fitted when it’s off- Rear Brake Caliper Piston Issue
Have you taken the reservoir top off. I don’t have hill hold as someone mentioned in another comment. Mines just a straight forward Caliper with handbrake. I got a Lazer tool from Halfords, it is tight to wind back so just need to be patient and take your time- Water in passenger footwell
Had water leaking in on drivers side, took all scuttle panels off to check. found nothing but filled a hole on passenger side where the wiper would bolt to if LHD. Recommended reading another thread, it’s in one of your pics but mine had a short bead of silicon to direct water away ( can’t see on your pics) Mine turned out to be windscreen leaking in with the water running down the A pillar trim- 2010 2.0 TDI 170 Temperature control flap motors - climate control problem
This is one point I was at trying to figure it out. Became good at stripping the dash out in no time to try and figure out how it all worked while trying to figure out what the hell was wrong. Had me driven round the twist and obsessed with feeling the vents for temp differences 😤😤- 2010 2.0 TDI 170 Temperature control flap motors - climate control problem
This is the one I replaced if you stretch the picture open you can see the open ducting above, the grey part is a temp sensor. You have one the other side in same place the other two are in each side dash vents ( them four are the same) the other is by the clutch pedal (RHD) area- 2010 2.0 TDI 170 Temperature control flap motors - climate control problem
It’s got 4 temperature sensors in the ductings and another near the knee airbag. Think it’s something to do with air con - No bend lighting problem
