  1. because safety, brake lights are better visible with single fog
  2. loyalty to russia depends on distance to border, from my less than 300 km i have that point of view: 1. that isn't one crazy man war, tens of millions support him and wants more blood. i freely speak russian, and time at time can check their media. 2. that isn't only Ukraine problem, if support to their Heroes won't be enough, then rushists will come to Europe too 😞
  3. Maybe someone can suggest where i can order something like this Profile like in picture: (red is adhesive 3M tape) Length 100cm (80cm windscreen + 20cm partly on the roof) Left and Right have small difference in cut shapings on the ends. There is also field for extended versions: b) 237cm (80cm windscreen + 157cm whole length of roof) for sedan, would prefer that model c) ~280cm (80cm windscreen + ~200cm whole length of roof) for wagon for current car, in far 2017, i ordered from Moscow -> https://strelka11.ru/deflektor-2d/superb/deflektor-strelka-2/skoda-superb-690 but for known reason this source has been closed physically and morally for next few decades after ~50km without deflectors: after ~600km trip (Riga<->Vilnius) with deflectors:
  4. the 220 vs 272/280 diff isn't only in horses: 1. visible chrome tailpipes -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/392652-exhausts/page/4/#comment-4839197 2. bigger brake discs, 310/298 vs 340/310 3. FWD vs AWD 4. horses about exterior i definitely agree, but interior i better like L&K, Style or even Scout i think exterior can be fixed easier than interior pictures of transformed Style to Sportline -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/367311-the-superb-iii-picture-thread/page/141/#comment-5570909
  5. steered only 2x ~2h. all depends on comparison - i also enjoyed so much 1/2 hour test drive in Taycan, but for know reason it isn't included in choice list
  6. @numskull ha ha, never say never most argument is price, but other candidates also were tested, one year ago, my subjective rating:
  7. yes, with current Superb Mk3 2016 220ps FWD i had ~20 service visits during first 3 years, but none of issue made me stay on the road as i have experienced with previous Hyundai Sonata 2009 2.0 CRDi AT, which gave me regular, 5x during 7 years, travel to service on car evacuator my next Superb Mk3.5 2023 280ps AWD will arrive in near months
  8. so sad, but thanks for useful info to me - i'm waiting for new Mk3.5 in near months, will have to extract them from current car list becomes longer and longer: 1. Full diameter Spare Wheel 2. GPS Signal Repeater under dashboard 3. Bilstein B6 DampTronic shocks 4. Start-Stop Memory module
  9. full diameter spare wheel fits perfectly, isn't that enough? diameter comparison to regular 215/55r17 and 225/55r17: OEM 205/55r16 _ -5.3% _ -6.7%, this huge size difference cancels usage of cruise control custom 195/65r16_ -1.1% _ -2.6% custom 205/65r16_ +0.8% -0.7% custom 205/60r17 +1.5% 0.0% Copy-Paste from another tread -> Pros and Cons have been described already: a) same size as all other wheels -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/ + can be installed on any axle + can be used for unlimited distances + no size diff = no speed limits + Cruise control will be available - boot floor will be pushed few cm up - most expensive b) custom 205/65r16, full diameter (my choice for 220ps) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/442912-full-size-spare-wheel/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-5040470 + minor width diff will provide safe driving on + 30% of speed printed on spare disc. Important note, when installed on rear axle. + can be used for longer distances + minor circumference diff will provide ability of Cruise control usage. In theory, i haven't had to test it after OEM 205/55r16 were replaced. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot. - !!! doesn't fit on 272/280ps even on rear axle !!! c) custom 205/60r17, full diameter (my choice for 280ps) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520234-superb-mk3-spare-wheel/?do=findComment&comment=5818139 Pros are equal to b and fits on 272/280ps, which has bigger brake discs, 340/310, while all rest have 310/298 (front/rear) d) OEM 205/55r16 + lot wider than 'd' = safer than 'd', but don't think printed speed limit can be exceed more than + 10%, even when installed on rear axle. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 e) OEM 125/70r18 + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge width difference = absolutely unsafe, even when installed or rear axle. - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/494383-can-anyone-with-a-20-tsi-220-factory-spare-wheel-tell-me-the-size/?do=findComment&comment=5550057 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/?do=findComment&comment=5556680
  10. i can't accept wagons, because their dirt rear window in bad weather and louder road noise from the rear my choice were Superb Mk3 2016 220ps FWD and after 7 years/122k Km it will be swapped by Superb Mk3.5 2023 280ps AWD mostly because huge space in trunk, Superb hatchback's trunk is bigger than most SUVs have, four full size 225/55r17 rims without landing seats
  11. noticeable improvement can be got just by replace soft OEM springs to harder Eibach Pro lowering or not lowering (my choice) is up to you -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/478335-does-the-sportline-have-stiffer-suspension/?do=findComment&comment=5703999 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5620484
  12. few(12) pictures -> https://www.drive2.ru/o/b/496180186753008393/ sad, but option not for me 😞 there isn't Airlift sets with DCC support and current 220ps, same as my next 280ps, don't have that free space under trunk
  13. Mine were replaced under warranty, but next time i will try cleaning contacts by self instruction(rus) -> https://www.drive2.ru/l/564749580151816678/
  14. springs were ordered separately, not whole kit. Eibach doesn't offer ZERO Lowering kits 😞, i were interested on add stiffness. by part codes must be identical front F11-85-043-02-FA (from Audi Q2) rear F11-79-008-01-HA (from 4x4) on rear i expected extra +10 mm to OEM DCC as in this example, same rear springs on 2.0 FWD hatch -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/478335-does-the-sportline-have-stiffer-suspension/?do=findComment&comment=5573227 but on rear got -12mm, acceptable, but why . .
  15. interesting, with same springs 280ps AWD's front dropped more than on my 220ps FWD, but rear less, more over, mine got Audi pads on the top of rear springs please add some day pictures how your looks with passengers or rear seat mine -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5681084
  16. why limit yourself by kits, when Eibach Pro springs can be ordered separately?
