  1. If the TV has a Headphone socket then just plug in a pair of Computer Speakers like these:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Inspire-T10-Multimedia-Speakers-Black/dp/B000WQIKJ0/ref You will also want a cable like this:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004G7O1PI/ref Works well for me, not to expensive and just plug in and power up. Just leave the volume turned up on the speakers and use the tv remote to change the volume. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. It might be worth disconnection the second small wire that attaches to the negative terminal? Thanks. AG Falco

  7. With mine if the stop/starts cuts in I can restart the engine by turning the heater fan up to three and putting the AC on. So having the AC / fan on can stop it working as well. Thanks. AG Falco
  8. So do you have a warning light on now? Thanks. AG Falco
  9. If both the handbrake/parking brake was not on and the foot brake not on then the wheel should spin freely. Brake shoes on the rear are inside the drum. Look here:- Thanks. AG Falco
  10. It won't always work. After a 12 mile trip home it never works outside my house. But after 10 miles in the morning it normally works if I stop at some lights. 🥺 Battery was good when I tested it. Car does need to learn the new battery. It will try to charge it more than it charged the old one. Did Skoda do a scan for faults when you were there? Beginning to think that the Bolero problem is a different one. Do you know why the Bolero/car bongs? Thanks. AG Falco
  11. When the fuel cap is locked the fuel cap will spin freely in both directions on mine? When it is unlocked you twist it anticlockwise to remove it. Thanks. AG Falco
  12. Is the brake stuck on at that wheel position then? Brake dust? No pictures here? Thanks. AG Falco
  13. Some times if there is no power to the car during a battery change the car can 'forget' things. As you know even with the ignition off the Bolero system is still powered. Thanks. AG Falco
  14. Fingers crossed. 🤞 Did the garage that fitted the battery use a memory / code saver power supply in the OBD2 port when changing the battery? Thanks. AG Falco
  15. Some non Skoda garages can update the digital service history on ERWIN but they have to registrar / pay to do it. It is just as good to have all the invoices from any service work that has been done. Have heard of this before. I have removed / refitted coil packs from my cars and had no problems at all. There are special coil pack removal tools, and clips on youtube on how to get any stubborn ones out. middle one? Thanks. AG Falco
  16. Anything found / solved by them? Thanks. AG Falco
  17. Some thing like this help:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/LINDY-Premium-Audio-Cable-Female/dp/B01MXN0TZ1 Thanks. AG Falco
  18. Sounds like a talk with Skoda would be a good idea. There are good small sound boxes you could use with your portable CD player. Ask if it comes to that. Thanks. AG Falco
  19. Have you tried this? Thanks. AG Falco
  20. Battery goes flat quicker. Thanks. AG Falco
  21. A second scan to see if an codes are now present might give us a clue, but see below. Always worth doing first. Please keep us posted. If all else fails I have a big hammer to do some reprogramming with. 😉 Thanks. AG Falco
  22. All my All season tyres have the TPMSS ( Three Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol ) on them. Thanks. AG Falco
  23. Battery tested and shows all good, with 12.9 V at rest and 14.9 V engine running. Battery now coded. Car also scanned for any faults, three old ones now cleared. Hopefully we will hear if this was successful from the OP. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. 4 Cars:- One runs just summers all year round. One runs summers and all season in the winter. Two run just all season all year. I did run one with summers and winters for 5 years. Down South in North Dorset the all seasons are more than up to the job in the winter. Thanks. AG Falco
  25. PM send. Thanks. AG Falco
