  1. Just some talcum powder / french chalk is worth a try. Thanks, AG Falco
  2. Look here:- And here:- Some part numbers have been superceded. For my 2018 Citigo:- 1S08109879B9 Adaptor lower rear left. The adaptors don't appear on the TPS diagram but is listed. 1S08109889B9 Adaptor lower rear right. The adaptors don't appear on the TPS diagram but is listed. Thanks AG Falco
  3. FYI. SRI ( Sumitomo Rubber Indistries ) make Falken Tyres. Thanks, AG Falco
  4. Never made / sold in the UK. Only in the VW UP but with the insurance group higher than my Fabia III TSI with a 1.2 Lt engine not the 1.0 in the UP. Thanks, AG Falco
  5. Yes, and in my experience is a better engine with more low down torque and higher gearing which means the car will be quieter and better on fuel at speed. My 1.0 MPI Citigo did 55 MPG last full tank and my 1.2 TSI Fabia did 62 MPG last full tank. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. Yes I have a TSI Fabia III which is a cracking engine. I have now managed to drive the remapped Citigo car back to back with mine on local known roads. It is noticeably more responsive / quicker from idle and all the way up the rev range. It will pull up hills easier, you don't want / need to change down gear as much. Motorway hills / overtakes are much better / easier than mine. It's no GTI but it makes the car nicer / easier to drive. Fuel consumption seems to be very similar to mine with 55 MPG on last tank used. But my Fabia III is much better on fuel consumption with 62 MPG on the last tank. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. The 1.0 TSI can have a 95PS engine with a 5 speed gearbox or a 1.0 TSI with 110 PS and a 6 Speed gearbox. My 1.2 TSI 90PS with a 5 Speed gearbox will be running at 80 MPH in 5th at 3000 RPM. Thanks, AG Falco
  8. Sounds like the pressure sensor is triggering. Have you tried cleaning the seals / lubricating the struts? Can you look at live data when it happens? Thanks, AG Falco
  9. Had the Citigo for 9 months now and all good except it could do with a little more GO on the hills around here. Am spoilt by both the other cars I own as both have a bigger engine's which are turbocharged / intercooled / direct injection / 16 valve. I have found some details of a Remap on this engine by Celtic Tuning, see below:- The above graph shows the engine before produced 67.9 BHP and after at 84.3 BHP when it is listed at 59 BHP as standard. Looks like this was done on one of the hottest days this year just last month. Two weeks later the engine had an MOT emissions test which shows as all still good. Anybody had this done / got any experience of the company? Was it worth doing and what are the driving results like? Thanks, AG Falco
  10. Have you / can you film it happening / not happening to show them? Thanks, AG Falco
  11. AGFalco replied to LetsGo's topic in Škoda Citigo
I have disconnected the batteries on my Citigo, Fabia and Panda and can confirm that you don't need to enter any radio code afterwards. Thanks, AG Falco
  12. I have a Fabia III from new, original battery still fitted at 65K miles. Battery was tested at its 7th service in May and is still good, and it is a lower grade of stop/start battery being an EFB type. First thing I would do is charge the battery with a smart charger but do not connect the charger up to both battery terminals. The type of usage the car gets will also effect the useful life of a battery. It IS worth coding a new battery when one is fitted to the car. Especially if it has different ratings to the replaced one. A lot of batteries faired badly during the lock downs due to covid. Sell other makes as well, Exide and Lucas that I know of. Thanks, AG Falco
  13. Most dynamic wheel balancers can also do static balancing as well. Thanks, AG Falco
  14. Already moved there. Thanks, AG Falco
  15. Don't think It would be worth delivering a car battery from UK to Croatia. 2016 Fabia III's came out with an EFB battery in the UK. Thanks, AG Falco
  16. I get in the car, turn ignition on but don't start the engine, turn off stop / start, then start the engine, every time. And yes I can turn it back on if required, as and when. Thanks, AG Falco
  17. No, they will still be liable ( at least for third party claims ) but the car is insured assuming that the front assist is working. Have you tried turning the stop start off before starting the engine? Thanks, AG Falco
  18. Have you told your insurance company that the Front Assist doesn't work? Do you know any of the error codes that are / were showing? Thanks, AG Falco
  19. Or Google Maps with your phone connected to the car. Thanks, AG Falco
  20. This sounds like a flap problem. How long have you had the car? With mine:- The AC works all the time but only at 6.0 % if the AC button is off. ( AC noises ) Mine will blow cool some times even if the AC button is off. Especially if you turn the fan on after you have been driving for a while. The AC will turn itself on automatically if various parameters are met. Thanks, AG Falco
  21. The 5 Speed Manual is fitted only with the lower powered engine, be it a 1.2 90PS or the 1.0 95PS TSI engines. The 6 speed manual is fitted only with the higher powered engine, be it the 1.2 or the 1.0 TSI engines, both have 110PS. The more powerful engine with the 6 speed manual would be better for you if you do lots of high speed driving. Both engines are good. The history of the car would be the first thing to look at. Thanks, AG Falco
  22. Details here on this site as well:- Thanks, AG Falco
  23. With mine it is optimistic in warm weather and pessimistic in cold weather. This is after 6 years and 65K miles of checking after each tank fill. Thanks, AG Falco
  24. Hold your horses and look here first:- Thanks, AG Falco
  25. In this country it is setting the tyres to to 25 PSI when you need 2.5 BAR or vice versa. Other figures are available. Thanks, AG Falco
