  1. Ok, thanks, Iยดll ask my local dealer next time I drive by... ๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. All that after only 14000 miles??? You should stop making handbrake turns... Here is a good discussion about this kind of practice
  3. Mine was delivered with Pirelli P7 Cinturato (also in 19"). I would absolutely not recommend them! Possibly, there could have been Bridgestone, but I don't know which model. Turenza, I would say, but not sure... Many Mk3 drivers here go for Michelin Pilot Sport 4. I've changed for these on my rear axle after on puncture. I'm eager to replace the original Pirelli P7 on the front axle by 2 additional Michelin PS4. I think Continental ContiSportContact 5 or 6 may be also a good choice.
  4. Have you tried to use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of this wite dust in the vent ducts?
  5. Have you try to clean the vent ducts with a vacuum cleaner? It may help getting rid of this white dust...
  6. Seen on a french Skoda forum. Not mine :
  7. Nice overall result!
  8. Hi all, When using the Skoda Connect (recently renamed MySkoda) App on my Iphone8, the window showing the lock status hides the buttons to open / lock the car : Thus I can't use the remote opening / closing function from my phone. I've downloaded all App updates, but nothing solves this problem. Has anyone already this problem? Thanks for your assistance.
  9. Wow ! I've never thought that my 4x4 could have such "off road" ability, even from 6minute mark... A 'Scout' version or a Kodiaq might be recommended for such use. I feel even amazed that one can think of activating launch control on such a 'poor road'... Probably because car testers don't use their own cars...
  10. @Jase_31 I've bought this one from Superskoda: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-Combi-massive-stainless-steel-rear-bumper-protective-panel-V4-RS6-Brushed It suits my L&K version perfectly. I'm fully satisfied. Nothing to complain about after 3 years.
  11. It's more than "it doesn't seem to include...". It doesn't at all, indeed! Simple reminder :
  12. Don't forget, there have been 280, 272 and recently 280 again. It depends on the MY and also your budget...
  13. Cabin filter colour also depends on its reference. Actually, the 'activated carbon filter' version is already grey (even if brand new). Sparkling white filters are non 'activated carbon filters'. I had been fooled too several years ago by the filter color, when replacing this filter on an Audi A3 Mk2..
  14. It's linked to the system technology. The Lane Assist system measures the resistive torque thru the electric motor actuation system in the steering wheel. Thus, if you hold the steering wheel very gently, it's hard for the system to detect any resistive torque. Then it bips. VW Passat is fitted with proximity sensors in th steering wheel. Thus, even if you're very smooth with the steering wheel, your hands will be detected and it shouldn't bip.
  15. @MarkyTDI Well, ti's worth to try... In the worst case, the seller is in bad faith and he won't propose you anything. But then you know, he is definitely not the guy that will overhaul your car! In the best case he makes you a fair proposal to solve the problem and you can then trust him to service your car next time.
  16. Hi @MarkyTDI, I think the answer is in your question... ! Based on this I would go back to the dealer where you bought it, to ask him what this mess is !?! "free of deformation" means "free of deformation". He will probably try to dodge the problem arguing that this has happened during the 500 miles you've made since delivery. In this case, than just ask him why: Quite strange, isn't it? In France, this is called a "hidden defect" and in such a case, the seller can be sued in court. Especially coming from a professional, this is not acceptable. I don't know if such a law exists in th UK. Any way, try to see what the seller proposes you as a solution: - New (perfect) repair for all 3 wheels? - 3 new wheels? Good luck for your negotiation!
  17. My dealer also told me this is normal, (even with Xenon headlights), since VAG has changed the technology on headlights, which are not air-sealed anymore. BUT, I can give you a tip: If moisture is very important, you can try removing the cap in the back of the headlight and introduce a tampon (yes a tampax for women). Just let it overnight. It's very efficient. It's a tip from a friend of mine, who often makes underwater photography. He uses this for its water-resistant case for his camera when he goes scuba diving. Any moist in front of the lens would ruin his pics indeed. It does cost much, and it's worth a try ! Simply clever !
  18. Surprising, I've made approximately half a dozen of orders on Superskoda. I've recieved them all. Last one was for 'black friday', it was delivered few days later. Sorry for what happens to you. Same suggestion as @langers2k, just try contact them and check the delivery address on your order and what they have in their system.
  19. It's normal conditions. The start voltage limit is set to 7.6V as a default value. I've set it to 8.6V with my VCDS to make the S&S less 'pervasive'.
  20. @Jase_31 I donโ€™t know if it helps, but I have TDI190 MY2017 and it is AdBlue equiped.
  21. Gentlemen, we are drifting away from the original and technical topic... ๐Ÿ˜‰ @J.R. Which french forum are you refering to (just curious) Never seen such discussion on the one I often read... But, I have to say I only read or attend to technical threads... ๐Ÿ˜‰
  22. @poundy Hi, After 30 months, I fear you can forget warranty... I would recommend replacing it by a stronger one. On L&K, you have many electrical equipment, which consume ยซ a lot ยป especially in winter / cold season... (windscreen, rear window and rear view mirrors defrosting system; warming seats...). If your car ยซ sleeps ยป outside (no garage), it also contributes to shorten the battery life time, since you use more often these heating equipment. On my former Superb Mk2 (without windscreen heating system) I had to change the battery after only 3 years and a half... I installed a stronger battery. Everything went ok then. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  23. Hi all, Since I donโ€™t have the same tyres dimensions for winter (215/55/17) and and summer wheels (235/40/19), I had a look last week on my spare wheel dimensions. I was very surprised to see that the overall diameter is really smaller, since it is a 205/55/16. Could it be a mistake or is it the standard dimensions for spare wheel on a Mk3? To me it should be 215/60/16 or 205/65/16... according to previous discussions if anyone could have a look to its spare wheel to confirm if itโ€™s a mistake or not... ๐Ÿ˜‰ I would highly appreciate... ๐Ÿ˜‰
