  1. Have you checked the boot lock with the key fob far away from the car? The boot lock detects the proximity of the KESSY key fob and lets you open the boot, locking it again when you close it (the directional lights flash).
  2. Something like this?
  3. Actually, the majority of European countries use the decimal comma.
  4. The circumference is not the same, because 215/50 has a lower sidewall than 225/50. Sidewall 215*50% = 107.5mm Sidewall 225*50% = 112.5mm

I promptly replaced the original H7 bulbs with Philips X-treme Vision, but saw no gain to speak of.
  6. Is that the right code? I get led to the A 331 H.
  7. km/L I see it becoming more and more popular in Italy.
  8. Varta batteries have never disappointed me.
  9. That binds the car maker. The car owner must only stick to the rim & tyre sizes listed in the homologation certificate regardless of the small speedo reading variations between them. Non-listed rim & tyre sizes are illegal, speedo reading error probably not being the primary reason for the ban.
  10. I replaced the keyfobs' batteries twice (i.e. 4 batteries) before learning on this forum about the 5 s button-press step. Had no problem either. The key and battery seem to be a moody pair...
  11. Do you hold any button for 5 s after removing the battery ?
  12. That click is the cam passing the spot (bulge) where it will catch and switch the indicator off when the steering wheel is turned back.
  13. With time, senior moments develop into senior periods...
  14. As far as I know, the DQ381 is implemented in 4x4 versions, even if DQ200 torque limit isn't exceeded, as the latter has no provision to drive the shaft to the rear.
  15. On my 2019 Kessy keyfob, the battery type (CR2025) is engraved on the inside of the battery cover.
  16. Page 290 of the manual version that I downloaded years ago ...
  17. I'm afraid that the algorithm that charges the battery prevalently on decelerations and downhills, trying to as much as possible avoid charging on extra fuel consumption, will ruin many batteries by sulfation. Living on a hill, I rarely return home with the battery fully topped up, as that would consume some fuel on the last leg of the trip.
  18. Here are the voltages that I just measured. The car has been staying locked (Kessy) for the night. Through the closed window I can see the permanent voltmeter alternate between 12.5 and 12.6 V. I unlock, open, and shut the door. The voltage drops to 12.2. I leave the car unlocked. 40 min later the voltage is stable again, alternating between 12.5 and 12.6 V. I lock the car.
  19. If you let the battery rest below 12.4 V, sulfation occurs, which reduces the battery capacity. To determine the true battery voltage at (closest to) rest, the voltmeter must be placed so, that it can be read without opening the door 20 min or more after closing/locking the car. Just opening the car door makes the voltage drop considerably.
  20. I was charged 59.16 EUR for "Haldex oil", if that helps.
  21. Had the gas pedal response done by Mr. Matko from MTL Car Garage http://www.mtl.si He is located in Slovenia but operates internationally through remote access. All transitions from deceleration to acceleration (cornering, exiting from a curve) are now smooth, with no hesitation. Quick starts from standstill are improved too, but as we start from idle (DSG), we still get the entire turbo lag (short of launching).
  22. There is an oil filter in the Haldex unit, that should also be cleaned at the oil change.
