  1. Ah ok, so at least I now know how to accept calls. Anyone any idea how to reject a call? Maybe its as simple as pressing the left hand button?
  2. Sorry maybe I'm being thick. You said you accept/reject calls using that button. I can understand pressing the button accepts the call, but how does it also reject it if that's what you want to do?
  3. Yep but how does that both accept and reject calls?
  4. Thanks but how does that work, there is only one cylindrical button on the right?
  5. My phone is connected to my Balero system using BT, not cable. Incoming phone call brings up splash screen on display allowing me to accept or reject calls. Is there any way to accept/reject via buttons on steering wheel? Even my 10 year old Focus that I sold to buy a brand new Kamiq allowed that so hoping the Kamiq will too.
  6. My Kamiq with DSG pulls away easily, my wife's Karoq however is more difficult to get off the line smoothly
  7. Even better if you select Sport mode if anticipating an overtake.
  8. Yep, someone else suggested that on a Facebook page, maybe you? That's a good idea which I'll try, thanks.
  9. Well perhaps start a new thread on this as that doesn't help answer the question
  10. Anyone replaced their reversing lights with LED ones? The original bulbs are really weak.
  11. My mat just comes out, no fixings
  12. Have you tried a reset?
  13. @oldstan If any help my wife's Karoq has run perfectly in the 4 years we've had it and my new Kamiq has been perfect in the 4 months I've had it. These forums and similar generally just show the few issues folks are having, not the many who are quite happy with their cars
  14. As I understand from previous comments here the DADA engine doesn't require a cambelt change until well over 100000 miles
  15. It is instant. I've tried it in manual mode and there is no difference. You say it's the same effect so not fully following your argument.
  16. Advice now is to use brakes to slow and gears to go, but unfortunately far too many don't look far enough ahead and consequently do far too much hard braking then wonder why their pads wear so quickly.
  17. Agreed. Sport mode then kickdown is more than sufficient.
  18. Our 4 year old Karoq with 33000 miles on the clock is still on original disks and pads both front and year.
  19. @Sanqhar Using kickdown achieves the same effect, no need to touch the paddles for an overtake
  20. Very true. I test drove the 1.5 and it had more than enough for me, even though it was around 40bhp less than my previous car.
  21. He has the 2 litre and suggested 1.5 wouldn't be good enough. In the smaller Karoq the 1.5 is fine.
  22. You do realise this is the Karoq forum?
  23. sussamb replied to BTandSid's topic in Skoda Karoq
Perhaps better in the car then
  24. I use E10 whenever I can get it, no real difference, all modern engines are designed to run on E10
  25. My wife has that engine in the Karoq. The same in my Kamiq with the DSG box is a completely different beast, particularly if you use the manual mode, loads of poke
