  1. I wasn't going to get that from your OP due to lack of information.
  2. I can imagine <shudder>. I'd suggest taking the thermostat off the block and opening the lower hose at the radiator, then flushing reverse flushing the radiator and flushing the block with a hose until the water runs clear.
  3. Why do you want to install a CANBus courtesy light unit in a pre-CANBus car? It may be possible, if you spend about GB£10_000 on doing it.
  4. Not what I was thinking then, which is most likely to occur with a small petrol and a PDK.
  5. More than just "a tad" IMO. It's also way less likely to get broken when loading or unloading the bed.
  6. I had the flexible section of the downpipe on mine go porous, with similar effects to you describe, at least if the smoke has a diesel smell.
  7. So, apparently, were trams, but trolley buses have the ability to change lanes...
  8. But only when the sump is within -1l to "stupidly overfilled". Below that you may well not get oil on dipstick.
  9. No; the speedometer must display in MPH or MPH and KPH.
  10. I don't care if the label on the bottle says "VAG 999-99" or not, as long as that meets or exceeds the old 502.00 specification.
  11. a "Tesla Blivet"; a one off, based on a Tesla Roadster, presently in a lowish Earth orbit around 315 miles high.
  12. Usually 18C, unless the car has climate control with a lower actual temperature.
  13. Clean the unbroken spring, and look for some dots of paint to establish the spring code. Buy 2 springs to that code, and Robert will be your father's male sibling.
  14. That is exactly my point; you're describing design behaviour for a VAG fascia gauge, and actual behaviour from the OBD readout relating to the underlying temperature. It's not broken so don't spend out on trying to fix it!
  15. HO!! You messin' Jimmi?
  16. Well, IMO you are stressing about a non-problem. Water temperature does not remain as fixed at $value as VAG "temperature" gauges would have you believe,
  17. A Skoda main stealer seems likely.
  18. "Sound deadening" rather than "silencer". Never had the panel detach itself though.
  19. From reading 1..9 above, you have consistently assumed that the TP69 is actually draining ~3l of oil, despite the lack of any evidence (in your testimony) that this is actually the case.
  20. Fair point, but if you can't be bothered to say where you live in metadata you can't expect $nation specific advice?
  21. Also @LightE I can't remember the standard number 😞 but a BSI kite marked pen gauge can be obtained for about £5,
  22. The difference between the first and second row (and also the 3rd and 4th) is that they are pressure recommendations for different wheel diameters.
  23. As designed the Citroen ZX has twin front arms.
