  1. That is quite a circumference / diameter difference you run. I see before you posted 215/60/16.
  2. Predictions should not be necessary. Toyota has had 30 years of experience and development with hybrids. I know they can coc-k up, but maybe i need to check out what is the best of those from pre 2024. Petrol / hybrid & automatic.
  3. If 82 kWh battery capacity, then 10-80% is only charging 57.5 kWh sort of thing, and a little loss. Or some might say, 77 kWh Usable, 70% is 53.9 kWh.
  4. @Fab-Ya Have you not even looked at the Air Filter? Best do that. I had to look to see where you are. Far south in UK. But i have no idea the weather you have been having. What is the Ambient temp at start and during journies? What tyres are on the car, size, brand, name?
  5. Yes VW say not to use additives. Then there are VW / Audi branded additives and these are sold by VW Group dealers and offered by VW Group / Skoda technicians / Service Desk staff at services.
  6. ^^^ Exactly right. 5w 30 FS III is Long Life oil for Fixed or Variable Servicing. VW 504 00 / 507 00 with TSI,s. & 5w 40 FS iVW 502 00 s for fixed Servicing with TSI,s, (5w 40 FS not for TDI,s)... Only mix if a little. But using 5w 40 FS (non Long life) is Simply Clever IMO.
  7. @lol-lol Pretty crap if Dacia are launching new models and carrying over faults / issues from previous Dacia or Renaults. That would make them just like Skoda / VW Group.
  8. @Badger49 was your 2021 Enyaq an early one & have to have the software update to allow it to charge up to 125 kW and not limit it to 100 kW?
  9. ? What size wheels, what size tyres, set at what pressure and what Manufacture and named tyres?
  10. Do you mean an Engine Oil Flush when you say 'Rinse'? Just change the oil when hot. Unless the car is new to you and you do not know the Oil & Filter change history. As to Additives, just go fill up the tank with Premium Diesel rather than standard Derv.
  11. UK E5 might be 97 ron min or 99 ron min, did the tuner really go for 97 ron? Some E5 might have up to 5% BioEthanol but it might have none. Tesco Momentum 99 can differ in parts of the UK as ESSO Super Unleaded does. Sainsbury's 97 ron Min might be 99 ron.
  12. Looking forward to seeing in the flesh and driving the new Dacia Striker. Price from £22,000. 2 Mild Hybrid engines 128bhp & 138bhp & a Full Hybrid 153 bhp. Also an option of 4 wheel drive 1.2 litre petrol with an electric motor driving the rear wheels
  13. @Carlston Might be able to help with this.
  14. I have experienced exactly this. Today and yesterday @ a SWARCO managed Evolt charger privately owned on @ a Farm Shop and cafe. Shows a 55 pence a kWh tariff on Electroverse, the charging was 70 pence a kWh with their card yet 55 pence a kWh with the Charge Place Scotland RFID card. BUT, today at Castleview Park & Ride Stirling there is a Minimum £2 charge. 65 pence a Kwh. Used Electroverse card and the speed was only 26 kW so after 5 kWh i stopped and changed chargers. Gone through to my Credit Card for 2nd charge, not the first charger though. Not the first time i have not been debited by Electroverse.
  15. ^^^ Had to look to see it is a 2.0 TDI.
  16. If a chip is to the metal where it would rust then you want a dab of Rust Inhibitor / converter on a coc-ktail stick applied a day before applying any paint.
  17. @DaddyDan I would be letting the Dealer Principal know that their Tech or Fitter never did the most basic of Inspections. Was it an Oil & Inspection Service paid for plus Pollen? As it is if even just into the workshop for anything they are supposed to do a Health Check & brake inspection if a Skoda / VW Group approved repairer.
  18. The 1.5 TSI is a 1.5 ACT, Active Cylinder Technology, just as the Audi is a 1.5 TFSI COD, Cylinder on demand. So 2 cylinders if no load on the engine, as the DSG can be in 'Coasting Mode' so no drive if no demand for drive. RPM drops away. It is all about reduced fuel consumption or reduced emissions, maybe more about that in the WLTP if the drivers do not understand and take their toe / pressure off the accelerator, or enable the modes if there is the choice.
  19. Em oot o here as well until there is more truth and less guff.
  20. I read the posts as people post them and read it as they mean it to read. I read some posting about things that do not show in posts. Maybe because they were deleted or because people try putting a spin on the post others put up.
  21. Running the oil to the correct temp and then doing the drain of the new oil until the correct level is set before tightening things up is mega important. Was the Oil Filter replaced in the DQ381?
  22. Is the actual issue the HALDEX or the Rear Diff? Different things? But not unknown for someone servicing the Haldex and draining oil to drain the Rear Diff.
  23. Odd having people blocked that appear to not be posting on here anyway. Many seem to be just ignoring this section because of others that seem to know about EV,s purely from 2nd hand information.
  24. The only Public Charger i know that is still @ 55 pence a kWh for 50 kW DC charging, privately owned and using a Charge Place Scotland card. Debit / Credit / Electroverse take 70 pence. 41 kWh was £22.45. 3.5 miles a kWh. 143.5 miles probably. If petrol @ £6.36 a gallon then that would be 3.5 gallons. getting 41 mpg would be near as damn it the same cost. 55 pence a kWh is to me a fair enough price, but the 2 nearest charger that are Council owned are 70 pence a kWh and giving out under half the power and have a 1 hour limit. 1 has been blocked by a van locked in since last night. There is a max charge time daytime. But the van is no longer charger, still still locked in.
  25. @Graham Butcher I do not think that is @lol-lol you are speaking about and having been in this thread since the start i have no idea who you might mean. If it is @lol-lol you are talking about might as well say that.
